What is a Bounceback?

Can someone explain what a bounceback out and how it is used?

When you stay at a Disney resort, you can be presented with a bounceback offer. You can find it in the booklet left in your room, or by calling an extension (which I cannot remember off the top of my head). It's usually an offer available to resort guests, not the general public, for certain dates later in the year, or for the following year in a similar season to which you are currently booked. These offers may be presented to the public later on down the road, but you get a first chance at it.

For example, we stayed last August 5 - 12. Our bounceback was free dining for August 20 - December 2015. Sometimes it's a room only discount. Not every resort is included in the discounts, and not every room category. We didn't book that because the dates didn't work for us, but we're always excited to see what they offer.

A question about the bounce back offer - My husband and I will be at Beach Ckub this fall, and while there, would like to book a bounce back for April of next year (2016). The resort and number of guests and rooms will actually be different (4 adults, 2 rooms at a moderate). Will a bounce back still work? Are there other rules?

You can only book a bounceback based on the current bounceback offer. If you are traveling this fall, odds are the bounceback will be for next fall (depending on the date you are there, it could be late summer or winter). You and your husband (if traveling together) can each book a room under the bounceback.

thanks for your answer...Dang, I always thought the bounce back was for anytime within the next calendar year...also, my hubby is not coming next time...girls' trip...

Here is the current room only BB, with the extension that you need to dial. FYI; you have to make a reservation during your stay at Disney, once you leave the offer is no longer any good. If you are going in May, this will still be the offer, I believe the next one comes out in September.

When we were there last Oct we were actually presented with 2 bounce back offers. free dining for this coming fall (but it was end of aug until Oct 2nd) OR the percentage off a room for most of 2016 (similar to the picture posted by a previous poster). So those of you going later this year may very well be able to book next April or May with a room discount.
You also can book any type of room as long as it is avail for the bounce back offer (ie stay in value this year but book deluxe next year and vice versa)
You can also make changes if necessary to room type/hotel or dates subject to availability once you return home just make sure to take brochure with you or write down that 1800 # as you have to talk to bounce back dept for any changes

Yes. The deposit is the same as if you book a normal reservation: If you book a package it's $200 (refundable if you cancel up to 45 days before your arrival) or one night's rate if you book room only.

So if I booked a bounce back as an annual passholder so for room and dining plan would that make it Package? Meaning no interest if booked on the Disney visa card...?

We are staying a few days in early May, and I just did a room-only reservation for next February ... now I'm wondering if I should cancel that and take advantage of any potential bounceback when I'm there in May ...
