What is a Bounceback?

Its when a family staying at a Disney resort is offered a really good deal to return at a later time. The kicker is that you need to book the return trip before you check out.

Do you have to book the same resort? We are going in December 2008, and then on a Grand Gathering in 2009. If we could get a good "bounce back" rate, we would just book it before we leave in December. The only thing is that we are staying at the WL in December and b/c of pricing the in laws want to stay at the Pop for the Grand Gathering.

You can book it anywhere you want to stay. If you are not comfortable going to pop book it for your in-laws & you & DH somewhere you want to stay if this is an issue.

I don't have any issues staying at the Pop. I just didn't know if I could book the bounceback with us staying at the WL on the first trip and then at the Pop on the 2nd. I thought you might have to stay at the same resort for both trips. Of course I would prefer to stay at the WL. However, as long as my DH is letting us go again, I could care less where we stay. I'm letting the in laws set the budget on this next trip. Heck we might even have enough left over from this next year's tax return since we are staying at the Pop, that I might get Lasik.

If you can book the bounceback you should. It is probably the best discount you can get. Its 40% off Villas, 30% off deluxe, 20% off mods 7 10% off the values. We booked our next trip at the BW from the bounceback, got it for around $200 per night. The only thing is you have to book it before you check out. But you can book it and put 1 nights deposit, and if you change your plans you can cancel and get your deposit back within 5 days of the check-in date.

Thank you for the info. Who usually asks if you want a bounceback? Is it during check in or do they ask you on check out? Can I ask them while I am there if they have a bounceback offer?

I'd gotten the offer last year on the last day at Sports. Problem was that you had to book and pay the $200 deposit before checkout. Made me wish I had that $$$ then.... coupled with free dining.....

R u sure it was a $200 deposit. I believe Disney's policy on booking room only reservations is the deposit is 1 night plus tax.
