Sorry to ask what may be a silly question . . . . what does it mean when one refers to 180 days out +10. I know about the 180 days, but what does the 10 refer to?

Thanks for your reply.

I 'm just on the cusp of booking and have learned from these fantastic boards that I should get my butt in gear to start booking dinner reservations for May 2006. :wave2:

It means that if you are checking into your WDW resort 180 days from today, you can call today and make all of your dining ressies for THAT day AND the NEXT TEN days. :sunny:

does that make sense? :sunny: :teeth:

Oh, wonderful! Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that I had to call every day for the duration of my trip to make all the different reservations.

Everyday I learn so much here!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

What you are describing is still the case for offsite guests. They have to keep calling each day.

Just to be clear . . . I'm planning a 10 day park hopper package with the dining plan and staying on property.

Can I book all my reservations with one call 180 days before my trip? :scratchin

Yes, this is the new deal for on-site guests. It's a great policy, isn't it? :)

::yes:: Yes, it is! I spent a while last night picking out restaurants for my trip.

Thank you all for your replies! I'm sure you will see several more of my questions on these boards! :disrocks:

The only downside I see to the whole thing is that the BRP won't allow you to schedule your vacation 180 days out. Therefore if you are a passholder, you'll still have to call back for each day of your vacation, rather than making them all in one call. I say this because you need to provide a reservation number in order to book the "+10" part on the phone. Does anyone know if there are plans to change the BRP to allow room bookings at or more than 180 days out?

BRP = Best Rate Plan / (Guarantee)

It's for AP holders.
We're AP holders I wasn't impressed with the new policy so I forgot about it.
