I was under the understanding that I was NOT able to make any ADR before exactly 180 days before our arrival date. Therefore, I am wondering what the 180 + 10 means? Does that mean that you can make ADR's beginning exactly 180 days before your first day of arrival and for the entire stay which could be at days 184, 185, etc? Thanks so much! :thanks:

Right.

At 180 days from check in you can make ADRs for your whole stay instead of having to get up at the 180 day mark for each day. You can do this up to 10 days or your check out day, whichever is first.

This may be stupid, but what time (including time zone) does the website allow you to start making reservations once you are at your 180 mark?

Is there anything I need to do in MDE to ensure I can make the reservations for all days of my stay? Right now, days are grayed out past 180 days and they become available one day at a time. On my ADR day, will it suddenly just let me make reservations 10 days farther than that?

And, is anything different because my reservation is on rented DVC points? Thanks!

I assume what you mean by MDE is the My Disney Experience app on the smartphone. Don't use the app, use the website on a computer. The app is known to have problems.

You are correct, days more than 180 days are greyed out for you at the moment, until 6am EST on your 180 day, then your first 10 days of your 180 day will be highlighted in blue, and you should be able to select and search for those dates.

Not sure about DVC points.

Nothing is different about points. Just make sure it's connected in MDE. Mine keeps falling off the website so I have to keep relinking it or logging out and in.

With the +10, do you actually have to have a hotel room reservation for all 10 days in order to book ADRs, or do you get access to all 10 extra days even if your hotel room reservation is less than 10 days long? For example: If you have a reservation for December 1-5, do you actually get access to book ADRs for December 1-11 when you reach your 180 mark, or do you only get access to December 1-5 because those are the only days you have reservations?

It will cut off by date of your reservation.

I have a split stay and could only book through my checkout day at the 180 mark for the first one and had to wait until 180 days from the second check in for the rest of my stay.

Thanks. Since my husband's schedule is never set until the middle of the prior month, it looks like I'm just going to have to book a crazy long stay to cover all possible travel days and then tweak the reservation once we have his schedule finalized. I hate doing that because I know I'm not going to use all the days I book, but I never know which ones I will use and which ones I won't use. At least I will be able to make some people very happy on the cancelled ADR board.
