what if you cant swim?.

QUOTE="washington6505, post: 48713601, member: 478306"]I am interested in the Disney cruise western 7 day (Fantasy). I was browsing the web and saw as the ship stops they do a bunch of fun stuff. One especially was on the ocean they has this huge bouncy ball kids were climbing and jumping off of into the Ocean. What if your child cant swim?. My kids are 14 and 11 (not strong swimmers at all). Also what about sharks?[/QUOTE]
Sharks are strong swimmers.

All the beaches Ive been to in the caribbean have life jackets, either included in the admission to the beach, or for rent. The water is too warm for sharks

A shark was seen the last time I've been to CC... I was out for lunch when it happened though.

I've seen the barracuda out at Serenity Bay. It's a regular occupant, and if I'm not mistaken, the CM's have named it Fred.

The last time I went to Serenity Bay were three barracudas "hunting" where I had water a little upper than the knees. It was impressive.

I've also seen stingrays.

I still find it odd that a first time poster brought back a thread by another first time poster. What are the odds. Eveyone is quoting a poster that hasn’t been seen since 2013.

First time posters don't know to look at dates... heck, I don't look at dates until someone says something or it sounds like the thread might be old (ie: mentioning only 2 ships in the fleet, lol). Anyway, sometimes it's fun to see how people were thinking 5 years ago. It wasn't that long ago, yet so much in our world has changed.

And sometimes posts are brought up from the depths of time by spam, people start replying, then the spam is taken away and it looks weird.

I don't see this as a problem. And obviously people still have some interest in the topic. The person I quoted asked to their question this week.

This image will show you where cabana number 20 is located. The lagoon area in front of the cabanas is pretty shallow, and is within the netted area. Is there a remote possibility that there could be a shark over in that area, yes, but extraordinarily unlikely.
Here's a closer view of those cabanas at the far end:

If you want to do the beach, have your kids wear life jackets but stay by the shore. My kids had a blast just jumping the waves and even sitting in the sand close to shoreline where it was very shallow and waves coming and going.
