I'm very happy you found Marzi and the purse. Two very worthwhile Quests and both with a happy ending, I did look for you at WCC we were in the back room and Dh wasn't feeling too good when we got done so we kinda scooted out before our server could start yelling again she gave Dan a migraine. I know what you mean about the rain we were soaked to the skin from the knees down sooo cold. I would love to meet for drinks but not margaritas I found out they don't like me very much. Anyway love the TR so far and the reason Dan is taking me back is we got a 40% off pin That definitely deserves a banana dance. I was so sorry I missed you.

(on my soap box now) People, if you see somebody coming your way with a loaded tray of food, especially if they are climbing steps, even just a few steps, do not look them in the eye and choose that time to stop infront of them to fix whatever you need to fix in your empty stroller, take two steps to the side, I am not asking for much, but having to walk around you while loaded down with everybody's food and drinks only manages to tick me off and shoot you down with my sarcasm!!! I am not apologizing for my sarcasm either, you earned every word of my sarcastic speech)off my soap box.

Especially since they don't give lids for the drinks at AK! We had the same issue at FTB and ended up dumping an entire large Coke because we were juggling the tray and trying to navigate our way to a table.

Let's all take a look at my watch set now.

Love it! I so wish I had seen it when we were there!!

I liked the blanket they had, it was one of those deals, spend $40 and get the blanket for like $15

I took advantage of that deal, too, and absolutely love my blanket!!

I was so happy in that minute, wet feet, cold toes, straight stringy hair, sore knee, it didn't matter, I had Marzi again, were at Disney celebrating our reunion, and I had my Mom with me too.

I'm so glad I read this BEFORE I did my makeup for the day, since you had to go and make me cry!

I think WCC wore Janis down too. We were all starting to get headaches, it was just too much for the first day.

So you and Margaritas don't get along? That is so sad, I love Margaritas, I can only have 1, my all time favorite drink is the Long Island ice tea, 1 does it for me, it's enought o make me happy without making me drunk, there's a shot I totally love called dirty bong water, it's so yummy, ever had one?

People don't believe me when I tell them I was cold at disney, I heard it's rea;;y cold there right now. poor people!

I am so in love with my purse, aside from all the jewelry I bought, my pocket book is my favorite. I hope it holds up until my next trip and I will purchase another one, there were a few I really liked.

My shopping strategy totally changed on this trip, I don't know what happen but I went hog wild on the spending.

Yea, lids should be required, it's treacherous trying to navigate crowds with a loaded tray, and some people just don't care.

Oh you know it!!! I barely remember the stroller days with my babies, but I hope I was a little more careful then she was.

I'm relieved to hear that others had wonkie posts too, I really thought I was losing it.

SO you think I should keep my TR title the same, later in the TR the title gets explained, I was thingking on chaning it to "What if people were only as cool as their shoes?" they'll be an explanation of that soon too.

I think when everything go as planned on a trip it makes it hard to appreciate what you have, it's finding happiness in the midst of crap that makes me appreciate it all.

I will gladly share my Mom with you and she would most definitely welcome you with open arms.

Yea, Janis really didn't need to be out in weather like that, I think the rest really helped her alot.

We were always on the look out for pop cops after that. We didn't want to get busted again and possibley thrown into pop jail, although it propbably would have been a cool retro jail where all the pop coppers did the hustle.

Ever try and enjoy a meal while trying to ignore a butt in your face? It's not easy.

I love the Disnosour ride, it is quite violent but so cool, I wish it were a little less jerky so Mom could have ridden it, but it would take away too much of the adventure.

Yes, I did hit the Disney jackpot, I do not regret a single purchase and that's not easy for me, I always have buyers remorse, but I went home a happy girl!

I have seen iCarly, I think Sam makes the show, you're not the first person to tell me that either, I still don't see it, but thank you for the compliment, I think Sam is cutie.

That's funny I'm not the first to tell you that! That means it is true! And you're right - she does make the show. I know that show is for kids, but I still like it!

We got off the bus at our resort and went into everythings pop, I wanted to get my refillable mug, we shopped around abit too, I saw a few things I wanted, a mickey shaped cookie cutter and an address book, I didn't get either of them at the time, I knew I didn't have to rush and I really should slow down my spending after all the shopping I had done that day. I then saw the cutest PJ's they were like a quilt patch pair of jammie bottoms, red white blue, with mickeys on them, I loved them so much, My Mom said she would buy them for me but I told her to wait a while.

We headed over to get our mugs, we all chose different color lids so we wouldn't get confused, Mom even bought the mickey head crazy straws for her and Janis, then we went to fill them. I got hot chocolate, Marzi got coffee, mom hot chocolate and she got hot tea for Janis.
With warm full mugs in hand we went back to our room.

Janis was awake and working on a puzzle book, she said she was feeling alot better. We told her about AK, and finding Nemo and how we wanted to get back there some time so she could see it, she said if we didn't get back there on this trip it was just an excuse to come back in the future.

Mom was sipping her hot chocolate through her crazy straw when she noticed I didn't have a straw.
WE call straws libation transfer units, I think I saw that on an episode of Sponge Bob years ago and it just stuck, now according to Mom, if the straw is straight it's called a libation transfer unit, but if it's bendy then it is a libation transfer aparatus.
She asked Marzi why she hadn't bought a libation transfer apparatus and Marzi said she prefered a "manual transfer" I love it when people play along with the craziness. Mom chuckled, thought it was cute.

Marzi and I were getting restless so we decided to take a walk around the resort. I had worn my wolly crocs to AK and the nice warm fuzzy wool on the inside was now matted and soaking wet, so I had to go sockless and wear my gray everyday crocs with the holes in them, it was going to be a cold walk, but I can't stand laying around in a hotel room, if we were taking naps that would be a different story but Marzi and I did not want to waste a minute of togetherness, so we grabbed our umbershoots and refillable mugs and went out the door.

We headed towards the lake looking for a "fresh air zone" we crossed paths with another pop cop so we asked him where the smoke spots were and he said, all around the lake, the parking lot and basically where you don't see any people. So I asked him if I could lean off the balcony and smoke like I did before and he said as long as you don't see any other resort guests around.
So we figured smoking off the balcony infront of our room was probably a gray area and still shouldn't do it.

We called our guys and talked to them for a few minutes, Kent was heading out to reset some traps so we didn't talk long.

Marzi and I found a bench and dried it off as best we could and then sat and talked, we really hadn't had any just the two of us time to really catch up on stuff, not that there was a lot of catching up to do, I think we did all our catching up on the first phone call after we had found each other. we relived that moment and cried again, we still couldn't believe that after so many years we had found eachother, I had never given up on looking for her, it took over 20 years but we were together again.

We got up and walked all the way to the 50's by way of the lake, I really hope they do something with those new buildings across the lake, I can't wait to see it all done.

We stopped in the pop shop and got another hot chocolate and then went into the arcade, we wanted to get our pictures done in the picture booth but decided to save it for another day when we didn't look like drowned rats.

After 2 hours we went back to the room to get ready for our ADR's at PlanetHollywood. Mom told us that she was too tired to go, the rain and cold was to much tonight for her, so Marzi and I got ready on our own, I changed out of the thin green slacks I was wearing and put on some jeans hoping they would keep me warmer. I was dreading the cold feet again. Mom said she had brought an extra pair of tennis shoes and I could borrow them if I wanted, they were 7and 1/2's I knew they wouldn't work I'm an 8, mom thought if she took her orthodics out of them they might fit me cause maybe they had stretched, so she removed them and I tried them on and they fit but were too tight on my right foot, it was too swollen for them to fit comfortable in the shoe, so I had to stick to my crocs. My Mom didn't understand all the hoopla I had made about crocs before the trip, to her they hadn't been doing much for anybody, but on a warm day I explained these shoes are the bomb diggity! she said they were ugly as sin. Which reminded me of a Jimmyism, my son is always coming up with some off the wall phrase, I actually write them down in a book I call Jimmyisms.

....it was the day I had bought my new wooly crocs and I brought them home and tried them on, I was parading them around the living room in my most sexy model walk when Jim piped up with "What if people were only as cool as their shoes?" he looked at me, no expression on his face what so ever.
"Mom you would be so s c r e w e d."

SO anywhooo, Marzi and I bundle up as much as we can and head out to the bus stop.
The bus ride seemed to take forever and I kept looking at my watch I was so afraid we would be late for our ADR's then I remembered that the bus would have 2 stops and the second stop lets you off practicaly at Planet Hollywood. So I was able to relax a bit knowing that we wouldn't have to make a mad dash to get there, but my mind was on my cold feet way too much.
When we stepped off the bus at DTD, I opened my umbershoot and the wind took it and whipped it backwards, the umbrella turned inside out and was pulling me back with it, I was screaming for help and laughing while trying not to kill somebody with the pointy parts of my umbershoot (that actually sounds sick)
Marzi helped me fix my umbrella and we were off once again, we saw a couple of young guys who had fashioned rain ponchos out of shopping bags, they were the Bear Gryls of DTD.
There was no wait at PH, we got to the top of the steps and they took our picture, I didn't realize just how bad the rain had ruined my hair for the night until they brought our pictures around to us, and Marzi actually bought them

She said she was going to display it on her desk at work, ugh! let's get a better picture for that ok?

Our waiter was a little cutie, he smelled real good too, he was very attentive to us old and all disheviled woman, we had already planned to tip him good just because of his looks but we welcomed the attention any way.
Marzi and I decided to start the night out with a drink, we asked the waiter what he recommended and he said "The He!! boy, it has 7 different kinds of liquor and you can't taste any of them."
SOLD!!! that's what we ordered, he came back shortly with our drinks, and noticed my birthday button so he said he was going to tell the DeeJay to make an anouncement, and said to me "You are celebrating your 21st birthday right?"
and Marxi said "Yea for like the 17th time in her life." We bust out laughing I guess the server didn't get the joke, he didn't laugh. (maybe his math skills weren't up there?)
We both ordered the chicken fajitas, and went to town on our hell boys while waiting for our food, that drink was so delicious. and it worked fast, I got the warm fuzzies all the way down to my toes, which by the way I had put my gloves on my feet when we got to the restaraunt that is how cold I was.
AT one point the server was walking by and I wanted to grab his attention to order another drink, well he ignored me, I looked at Marzi after the blow off I got from the server and I said "HE wants me"
She winked, "They all want you babe, Cheers!" we clinked glasses and kept on drinking.

Don't they look divine? OMG they were so good.

Our food was so good, neither one of us could finish it all and we knew we needed to save room for dessert. Our server came around again and asked us if we wanted t see the dessert menue, we told him of course, he gave it to us and explained that because we were on the dining plan and their desserts were so big we each had to share one, now in my opinion I think this is a rip off, we each prepayed for all our meals which include dessert, nowhere on the plan does it say you might have to share a dessert, he said it was Planet Hollywood rules, that's how they've always done it. I remember back in 2007 all 4 of us each got our own dessert, what if me and marzi didn't want the same dessert, and I asked the server this, he said well one of you are gonna have to give into the other. REALLY!? At the restaraunt I didn't make an issue of this, we were so stuffed that we knew we couldn't each finish a dessert anyway, we just complained to eachother about it. I still think it's a dumb rule. We could have ordered 2 desserts but we would have to pay out of pocket for it. How rediculous is this? Has anybody else ever been told that because they are on the dining plan they have to share a dessert?

Anyway, we ordered the banannas foster. It came and it wasn't all that big like he said it would be, but Marzi and I were over it by then. The dessert was so good and even between the 2 of us we couldn't finish it all, I think if we had not had the drink first we would have been alright, but alcohol makes me feel full.
While we were eating dessert the DeeJay anounced that Ty was here celebrating her 1st birthday, that is not a typo, he said first birthday, Marzi and I got a kick out of that. Our server came by with our bill and asked if he had heard that correctly, we told him yes, it even flashed happy 1st birthday Ty on the TV monitors. He roled his eyes and said he would go correct that, I told him it wasn't necessary we were getting ready to leave now.
We settled up our bill, gave our handsome server a handsome tip and then we were off into the wet cold night.

We linked arms and tried to stay warm while fighting the rain and the crowds, I almost took a boy out with my umbrella, I did apologize but he didn't care about that.
we stopped in store after store and I found a jacket I wanted, I was going to see if Mom would buy me the jacket instead of the jammies, it was 12 dollars more I would totally pay the difference, so I didn't get it that night.
We went into Tren D's and I found a few things I liked but I talked myself out of it, I knew I would be back so I didn't feel panic about not buying it then, I was in the market for a ring, but I had yet to see one I liked, I thought Tren D' would have something I liked but they didn't.
I saw some shoes and would have bought a pair but again my leg and foot were so swollen I couldn't get the right shoe on at all, no sense in buying a shoe where only the left one fits.
WE passed once upon a toy and saw the big tinker toy construction out front, we wanted a picture of us in front of it but I didn't want to pull my camera out in the rain, we knew we'd be back and we'd get a great picture then. Tinker Toys were Marzi and me's favorite thing to play with as kids, we made tinker toy guitars and started a band.
We went into world of memories and I was shocked to see they didn't have any scrapbook stuff anymore, just scrapbooks, I didn't need a scrapbook, I had bought mine from creative memories the summer before, phewey.
We then went into the christmas store and it was packed, too much to the point that we couldn't move, so we left and headed to the bus stop. The bus was already there so we climbed aboard and after a few minutes we were on our way back to the resort.
We both were a little saddened that Janis and Mom couldn't make it to our ADR's that night, but yet we really had enjoyed our time together, I think it sunk in that night, like it truly hit me like a ton of bricks that we were finally back together.
WE got back to the resort and went to find an inhalation center and call home. Nobody answered at my house so I left a message.
Marzi was talking to her son CJ, I got tears in my eyes, when I heard his little voice, "I love you bunches and bunches mommy." Marzi also got tears, this is the first time she had ever been away from him for so long. I told her cherish these times of him missing you because my kids could care less right now whether or not I'm home, they are just loving their motherless teenage days right now.
I called my mom to tell her that we were back at the resort and asked her if she needed anything, she and Janis placed a food order with us so Marzi and I went into the pop shop to pick it up for them.
it was kind of empty so getting the food didn't take much time at all. Janis got chicken soup and mom got chicken alfredo.
We brought them their food and they dug into it like contestants on survivor who had just one a food challenge.
I got my mug while Marzi got into the shower, and I went to get some hot chocolate and call Kent. He was missing me and rightly so!!!!!
WE talked for about 30 minutes then I went back to the room and got a shower too.
My leg was even more swollen then the day before, so I took some motrin which I am not supposed to take for stomache reasons but now and then won't kill me, I took antacid in hopes that it will prevent my stomache from hurting and I took hydrocodone and because hydrocodone makes me itchy I also took a benadryl, I should sleep pretty sound I thought.
I crawl into bed, we turn out the lights and within minutes mom and Janis are snoring like banchees. I cover my ears and quitely hum till I fall asleep.
Mom and Janis talk in their sleep and it's funny because one will start to talk and then the other will answer, they carry on conversations in their sleep and don't even remember it the next day.

I actually got mine all taken down a couple of days ago, and it took me from 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. to finish. Geesh! I've think I've got to much decoration carp! When I look around I think I need more stuff to put out, but then I realize that may not be the case when it takes me that long to take it all down. Actually the tree is most of the work, the rest is easy to put away. We'll see what stuff I find over the next couple of years, I may have more to put out after all.

Actually the tree is most of the work, the rest is easy to put away. We'll see what stuff I find over the next couple of years, I may have more to put out after all.

My Tree is still up, I usually have it down the day after Christmas, I am just lazy this year, I started taking the ornaments off one of my trees. I decided that next year,(well actually it would be this year again) I'm only puttin gup my 1 small 8ft tree and doing my snowman only ornaments, I haven't done the snowman tree in years, then it will be easy to take everything down before my next trip.
I used to go all out and decorate everyroom, every shelf every wall had something Christmas on it, I have toned it down alot and only did 2 rooms and the kitchen, now I can't get motivated to take it down.

I felt like I had been sleeping forever, I heard Marzi moving around and asked her what time it was, right then the alarm went off, she laughed "7:00am, that was perfect timing."
I rolled out of bed to start getting ready, It was an MK day and I wasn't sure if they were taping or not but I wanted to be at rope drop just incase. When I stepped down onto the floor with my right leg I had major pain shoot up through the core of me, I sat down on the floor for a few minutes to let it pass, and then just crawled into the bathroom, I looked at my leg, it was even more swollen then the night before, how could that be, my skin looked like it had a rash on it and burned when I touched it, I called Marzi over to take a look, "Is my skin ripping?" I asked her, she looked close, it's not really ripping, it's just stretched too much too fast, it's more of like an indian burn, but it's not going to rip apart, take some motrin, it's an anti-anflamatory."

after that I took a shower and it helped a little, but once I put lotion on it burned bad, I didn't dare show my mom, I knew she would have one of those Mother freak out moments when you think your baby is hurting.

It looked like rain again so I knew it would be another day of wet feet, I put socks on anyway hoping that maybe it might keep my ankle from swelling too much more, compression might work. My wooly crocs were still wet so I had to wear the plain gray ones again. I even packed extra socks.

Marzi and I went down to the parking lot for a smoke and told Mom and Janis we would meet them at the MK bus stop.

It was a steady drizzle, I had bought a dollar store poncho, and it worked....just like a dollar store poncho should, it covered like a dollars worth of me, this was ridiculous and I knew I would be buying a Disney poncho soon.
Marzi had a dollar store rain coat, it felt like paper, but she said it held the heat in so that's a plus.

Mom called my cell then to tell me that were waiting on us, so we made our way over to the MK stop, it was a small line, I'm thinking people were trying to avoid that park this day, I got a little anxious when I thought about it, but pushed it way out of my mind, I am going to be fine, and I knew once our ADR's were done (11:00am) we could park hop if it got too crowded.

I was so happy that Janis could make it with us today, her voice was a little hoarse when she spoke, but she said she really felt so much better. I hate to think of anybody missing out on any second of Disney because they are sick.

The ride was boring, I loved sitting down but then would always dread standing back up again, it always hurt worse then.

The bus dumped us pretty close to the entrance instead of where it normally dumps up, so the walk wasn't as long, it was still just a drizzle but so far the feet were staying dry.

We made rope drop, we actually got to see the opening ceremony out fron, I didn't think they would come out in the rain, but pluto Mickey, Minnie and the chipmunks came out to greet us and sing to us.

I had lost track of mom and Janis during the pandemonium of opening ceremoney but we met up inside the tunnel and then started making our way down main street, I stepped in ahuge puddle and my socks got wet, so I took them off and put them in a bag in my purse, I was going to save my back up pair incase it ever stopped raining.

Our plan was to head to Mickeys Philharmagic first but we got side tracked by the watch store. we were just going to have a quick glance but ended up shopping for a bit.

I was still looking for a ring. I found a few I liked, then I couldn't decide if I wanted silver or gold, there was a gold one with sparkles (didn't know if it was glass or crystals) all around it and a Mickey inside, I thought it was cute but a little too gawdy for my taste, I tried it on and Marzi tried it on,

And it just came to us, just like when we were in 5th grade, we held our arms up and touched rings,

We laughed and hugged, awww to be the kids we once were
We took the rings off and put them back, and I decided on the silver Mickey ring. I also got silver bracelets with mickey dangleys. I kept looking at the watches, there were so many I liked.
Right then Kent called
Kent: whatcha doin?
Ty: shopping
Kent: I had to aske, what did you get?
Ty: Today so far I have gotten a ring and a bracelet, I am looking at the watches and I found the new wedding ring I want, I might have to come back in a year to get it."
Kent: I'd buy it for you if I were there.
Ty: save your money then and bring me back here.
Kent: maybe I will

I paid this no mind, I knew Kent doesn't like DIsney, he was just being sweet to be sweet, but a future Disney trip with him, never gonna happen.

Mom bought a fanny pack because her pockets were weighed down with her wallet, camera, meds and all her whatnots, so now she didn't feel so heavy, but she was hot, so she took her coat off and Marzi wore it the rest of the day, along with my zipup hoodie, that girl freezes if the temp drops below 70.

Janis came out a bit later and showed us the ring she had bought, Twin wonder powers activate!!! yup she bought the gold Mickey ring, it looked nice on her, she was able to pull it off, I still wanted that ring, I would continue to think about it. But here are my purchases....

We started making our way to fantasyland, we came across Tinkerbells treasures, Mom went in to see if they had the tinkerbell hoodie she had seen at WL, while Marzi and I looked for a clean air zone.

We found a spot right around the corner and went there for a few minutes, Marzi called CJ and talked to him for a little bit, then we went to find Mom and Janis in the store, I got to see Tinkerbell wake up, I thought they only did this once in the morning but they did it a couple times while I was in the store.

We left the store empty handed and started walking further into Fantasy land, we came across Snowwhite's scary adventure first it had a 10 minute wait so we got in line, the ride was ok, we only did it for something to do, why go to Disney if you are not going to do as much as you can.

We then wenton Peter Pans flight, I rode this with Mom and Marzi and Janis rode together. I really like this, of all the storybook rides this one is my favorite, I never knew the little car down below moved.

The ride was over way too fast, just like all of them, and we made our way to Mickeys Philharmagic, I was so excited for this one, it's my all time fav. I knew Mom would love it and couldn't wait for her to see it, I had told her so much about it and really built it up that she was busting at the seems in anticipation.
We got in line, it was a fast moving line, but Janis kept touching the rails Iwould scowled her and make her wash her hands with my anitbacteria hand soap from Victorias Secret, People, don't touch the rails, they are germy, kids put their mouths on them, men put their fingers in their noses then put their fingers on those same rails, eeeewwwwww!

We got our glasses and waited for the theater to open, we had ok spots, in the middle but too far in the back. Before too long the show started, I love tis show, have I said that already? I really do, and Janis loved it, she was laughing and clapping, just really going to town on having a good time, Mom was big smiles the whole time and a few squals with a giggle here and there, once we even got a deep down from the belly laugh out of mom, we all loved this show and said we would come back and do it again on our next MK day.
For a minute we lost Janis, "Where's Janis? Everybody look down." she is so short that half the time I thought she was missing she was standing right next to me.

We had about an hour to kill before our Crystal Palace ADR's so we thought we would try the hall of presidents, on the way I stopped into a store and bought a real poncho, it was nice, it actually went below my knees and kept me warmer, Mom bought some chocolate covered pretzels while we were in there, I ate 1 just for taste but wanted to save room for my buffet lunch coming up, we passed Haunted Mansion and it was a 5 min wait so Marzi wanted to go, this was the first time she had piped up with what she wanted, I was all about that, so we jumped in line, Janis asked why we were doing this ride again and I told her "because we can...There's no wait....it's fun....we got a duck to find...." She smiled, ok.

The CM working the doors was in character, never smiling and speaking as if her were not impressed at all with anything...doom and gloom, he didn't even smile for the picture. now remember the time is roughly a little after 10:00am

Mom Janis and doom gloom CM, (he wasn't really miserable, he was jsut in character) as Mom and Janis were walking away from him Mom said to Janis, his suit fits him very well." The CM had a quick chuckle, he lost character for a quick minute but regained pretty fast.

In the stretching room I had to guide Mom, she can't see worth diddly when it's dark, This time she looked up when I told her too and was suprised to see the dude hanging there.
The doors opened up and we headed to our doom buffys, Marzi and I on a mission,
Marzi: I take the right , you take the left if you see anything resembling a duck tell me, I'll do the same."
We are leaning way out of our buggys for a closer look at everything, we searched each room with sherlock eyes, no duck!!! are you kidding me, we just looked at the hidden mickey book in the last store, it confirms there is a duck, we didn't see a single duck anywhere, we also didn't see the hidden Mickey by the grim reaper because we didn't see the grim reaper. We knew we had to come back.

The ride over, Marzi and I feeling beaten with out our duck sighting, we headed over to Hall of Presidents and saw that the next show was starting soon but get's out at 11:00am we had ADR's for that time and said we would come back, we then went into the Ye Ole Christmas Shoppe, it was too crowded for me so Marzi and I left to find another nicotine zone. there was one right by the river, so we stopped for a smidge of time, then we went to the bathrooms and then back over to find mom, she was talking to another lady and they were both looking at a map, Mom was trying to find out where where Marzi and I might be according to the smoke areas on the map, but we found her first.
Mom had made a purchase int eh Christmas store but the item was taped up in abox and I never got to see what it was. WE then made our way to Crystal Palace for our ADR's.

So today I am flipping through the Birnbaum book and Kent comes in from setting traps. He sees what I am doing.

Kent: Really, you're that excited for our trip that is a year away?

Ty: I'm just looking to see if they have anything special going on in January, any hard ticket events, I'n not seeing anything though.

Kent: Hoping for a party?

Ty: yea, and I just am so done with everything right now, I hate getting up and going to work, I only get through it because of Disney, I've got the winter blues and looking forward to another trip helps me alot.

Kent: When else would be a good time to go?

Ty: anytime, duh!

Kent: Cause I was thinking, January is a busy month for me, I'm still trapping, and do we really want to leave Reese home to deal with the wood stove in January, and the weather could be bad, what if it snows and she is left to deal with that too?

Ty: So what are you thinking?

Kent: October, it would be warmer both for the drive down and for Reese staying here, trapping hasn't started yet so I won't be missing out there.

Ty: Hurrican season in Fl is still going on in October, we might get caught in one.

Kent: so?!

Ty: I don't want to push the trip back any further then necessary.

Kent: No, we would go this October, 2010!

Ty: OK, I can call and get a quote now, we have less time to pay for it though, less time to save, I don't see it working out.

Kent: What if, we didn't do the dining plan at all, and we didn't do park hopper and we didn't do a preferred room, would that save us a little?

Ty: yeah, that would save alot, and really I have never been able to finish a meal at Disney, so we could share any meals we get and just bring snacks from home, I will call right now, just for a quote.

I make the call get all the information, relay it to Kent and he said BOOK IT NOW!

so I did.

I am going to Disney October 2nd-10th. It is going to be a basic trip, no frills, but Kent reminded me that this trip is about us being together at Disney, we don't need all the extras. We are the celebration.

I am actually excited to do Disney this way. Kent said, "no plans, we go where the wind takes us." I'm just so amped to be going back to Disney so soon, I don't care, I can make this work, I know I can. He did say that we could do MNSSHP, I really want to do that, so I will look into that when the dates are available.
9 1/2 months till Disney, I can do that with both eyes tied behind my back!

Paid my deposit today and booked for May, Can't wait it's my Birthday trip. Doin the happy dance now we just have to put away my bonus and income tax money and sort of scrimp a little. We are doing the scaled down plan this time too. I'm really happy you are going at halloween Dan and I talked and I want to do halloween too but he doesn't so it might turn into a mom and son trip. I could so do that he loves Disney too and is a Nightmare before Christmas fan and looks like Jack so we could have some fun. Thinkin maybe october 2011. Look at me plannin 2 trips Oh well that is what Disney nutz do isn't it.

Well congratulations on booking your next trip. I am a bit nervous about not doing dining, it's silly, I never finish a full meal so really it is better this way, I'm just fretting about having to have a budget for food.
we worked one out last night and it is doable, and with us driving we can bring alot of stuff with us, so we will probably not do the refillable mugs either, it's like this is a generic Disney trip, or the junior varsity of Disney tips more like. I am still excited to go, I can't wait to introduce hubby to all the things he missed on his first trip, like AK, he skipped that park all together, and soarin.
This is supposed to be an easy going trip so I have to work on not stressing the small stuff.
