What if I have to cancel?

I have my trip booked and put down my 200.00. What if I have to cancel (sick parent). I do have insurance on the flight but not on the vacation. I thought I had read somewhere that if you cancel at the last minute you will get back everything except your 200.00 deposit. Is this correct? We couldn't justify paying 130.00 (trip ins for 2) to save 70.00 if this information was correct.

If you cancel on the day you are supposed to check in, you will get everything back except $200.

Cancellations made between 6 and 45 days prior to arrival, you will get everything but $100 back.

Hope you won't have to cancel.
