I have purchased bonus tickets for my sister and her family for our July trip. I imagine that over the course of the 5 days the tickets are valid, we will not always go to the parks together.

When I was at IOA back in January, there seemed to be a family having trouble with their tickets everytime we entered the park (always in front of me in line  ) I would overhear snippets here and there like "... I bought all of these tickets together, I don't see why his ticket won't go through" usually while some kid was trying to join his family on the other side of the turnstile. Then, I read on here that you can get issues resolved at Guest Services who will look up your purchase info.

So, I am wondering. If my sister and her family go to the parks without me, or DBIL takes my nephew over etc. what will happen if they have trouble with their tickets? Do they need to have my credit card with them? And what if they have my credit card and I take my nephew to the other park and there is a problem with my nephew's ticket? I guess I am asking if we have a problem with tickets, what information should we have with us in order to get the problem resolved at Guest Services? Can they get the matter resolved without me being there?

Thanks!

They won't need your credit card. If there is a problem with their tickets, they will be sent to Guest Services. Guest Services can resolve it without your being there. Usually they just reprint the tickets. If they are asked where they got them, just tell them to answer honestly that it was a gift from their aunt/uncle/brother/ sister or whatever and be able to give the name of the person who ordered them. Lots of people get tickets as gifts for Christmas, birthdays, etc.

Guest Services is there to help the guests not turn them away from the park. The only time people have problems is if the ticket has already been used by someone else or they purchased a used ticket from a broker.

Thank you. I knew guest services would be helpful, I just wanted to make sure they would have the info they needed if they ever has to head to GS with a ticket issue.
