What if I finish breakfast before the parks open...

and I'm in the park. My son and I will be in AK at Donald's Breakfastsaurus for an early meal, 8:10am. What happens if we get done before 9:00am? Are there rides running, can we get in line for EE, FastPass?

They will probably just hold you in an area until the park opens. After opening, the CMs will walk a rope barricade towards Asia so that the people coming in from the front gate will have the ability to reach EE about the same time as those who were in Dinoland waiting.

Often, the parks will actually open before the scheduled time. I know this is very common in MK...not too sure about AK

In 2005 we had to just stand around and wait outside, not any fun. If we would of know that we would of stayed in Donald's Breakfastsaurus longer. Just something to think about. DS9 was not very patient.

When you come out of Donald's, head to the right and get to the roped off area. If you have any interest in Expedition Everest, you should be able to get in one of the early cars if you walk quickly. We did just that in Jan and were in the first trip of the day. You could grab a FP, then get into the short line for your first ride. If you are there, at the rope, you have a pretty sizable head start on those at the park entrance.
But, unless it's an EMH morning in AK, no rides will be open. In fact, the last time I did an EMH in the morning at AK, DinoLand wasn't open!! It opened at the normal time..9:00.

I think if you do finish early, someone will be there to tell you where you can and can't go.

I agree. Usually it takes us quite long to eat while all the characers are coming arouns.

We were done before the park opened and did like the other poster said and waited to the right of the restaurant, by the rope, which prevents you from going to Dinoland.

We got to see a CM pick a family, actually a couple, to be the first to ride EE. We were 'almost' picked if I was just paying attention!

We got FP for EE and the rode it on standby and it was GREAT!
