I am sorry but I do think that these are fair questions.
Has anyone flown Pan am lately.
The markets are in a free fall.
Thousands are losing jobs.
Disney stock is taking a beating.Today it hit a low for the last year down over 50 percent.
Disney profits dive when people can not afford entertainmet or vacations.

Or should we not pay attention to the man behind the curtian?

I do not know what Dis stock is today last week it was around $15 or $16 a share. This said, after 9-11, Dis stock was down to $12 something a share. They are still around. People are scared right now and NOBODY in charge of this country is helping the situation by constantly telling us how bad the situation is. I do not believe Disney is going under anytime soon. But if you want to play the what if game, I agree with Carol.

I thank everybody for all comments.

I do believe that Disney will remain in some form.That being said I think that all corporations are at risk for takeover or merger.
Who would have ever thought that Anheuser Bush would not be american owned.

However I expect service cuts at DVC,hotels and parks to continue.
Perks will be eliminated and dues will go up.
I did take some offence at a response that in hindsight may have been meant as more of a "lighten up"than an dismissal of my concerns.
I will continue to use these boards to exchange thoughts and look forward to lively exchanges of thoughts.
