What hotel is better -- Anaheim Marriott or Anaheim Hilton? (more)

Hi all,

We are heading to Anaheim in July for a dance competition, and we have to stay in either the Anaheim Marriott or the Anaheim Hilton, both on convention way. They are the same price. We'll be going to Disneyland after the competition. I'm an L.A. native and have been to Disneyland many times -- usually we either stay with friends/family or a couple of times we have splurged and stayed on-site.

Anyway, I can't tell if either of these hotels might be a better bet for a family of 4 (two adults, a teen and pre-teen). Does one of them have larger rooms? Better pool? Closer walk to the parks? Any other amenities? Any pro or con experience with either hotel?

We have stayed at both, they're good hotels, we preferred the Marriott but the Hilton has had a refurb since we last went. Both hotels are literally across the street from one another so the same distance from the parks, you can use the ART buses that service either hotel as well. Have a great trip!

The Marriott gets mildly better reviews on Priceline. They both charge for parking and internet access. I will say that I got a good signal from the free WiFi at Starbucks in the Hilton lobby.

The Mariott does look older from the outside (60s style verandas vs 70s steel and glass look of the Hilton), but I think they're equivalent. We booked the Hilton over the Marriott since our rate was about half as much.

I have stayed at both and prefer the Hilton. We stay there often. The beds are more comfortable and we enjoy the Disney view rooms so we can watch the fireworks.
