For those of you who have been to DL before (and DCA if you'd like!) what things did you never get around to doing that are on your "to-do" list for your next trip? There's so much in the parks that you can't always do it all, and even if you are a frequent visitor I'll bet there's lots of little things that are still missed out on!

For me, I've only been twice so there's several things I want to experience for the first time, on what will be my third trip ever coming up this July!

-I don't know if I ever went on it, but I have no memories of being on the Casey Jr. Circus Train... I remember the Storybook Land Canal Boats, but not the train!
-the Matterhorn! LOL yes it's true... never went on it! Glad I'll be there after the refurb, not that it will make a real "comparison" difference to me!
-Space Mountain... with my eyes open. I went on it once, when I was 11, but I was kind of nervous, and when the ride jolted to start, my head snapped back and I hit it on the hard plastic head rest. It hurt so much I squeezed my eyes shut the whole ride and only popped them open for one brief second in time to see Saturn! :lmao: I'd love a do-over on that one!
-Blue Bayou - never ate there but I always thought it looked amazing from POTC, gonna make reservations for my BF's birthday while we're there!
-ride one (or more!) of the vehicles up Main Street!
-go on the Sailing Ship Columbia - I've been on the Mark Twain Riverboat but not the Columbia!

Share yours! :D

I've never been on Big Thunder Mountain. I want to try it, but it won't happen for a long time.

I've never been on Casey Jr.

I've never been on ToT, Splash Mountain, Mickey's Wheel of Death, or Screamin', and that won't happen ever.

I've been on the Matterhorn, Indy, and Space Mountain, but it was maybe 14 years ago and I want to ride them again, but it won't happen for a few years.

I've never been on Soarin', and DD claims she will be willing to try it on our next trip. I'm pretty sure that means we will wait in line and then end up not riding it. But you never know.

Never been on GRR but hope to try it one day.

Never been on SS Columbia.

Never eaten at many of the awesome restaurants.

Traveling solo with little kids really limits what you can do, but it really helps you hyper-focus on and enjoy the things you can do. I know in time we will try different things. I would LOVE to ride Space, Matterhorn, and Indy on our next trip but it won't happen. I hope we get to ride the Cars rides, though.

Never been in the Innoventions bldg. When we ride SM and Autopia we always say that we should check it out but never seem to find the time to venture inside.

On our last trip we made sure that that we hit some of those "forgotten" rides or attractions such as the sailing ship and the canoes. Next time we will have to make sure that Innoventions is at the top of the list.

Here's my list, in no particular order:

- Ride Screamin' at night
My boyfriend and I are usually at DL at night, and the only time we weren't (WOC), Screamin' was closed. We'll have a much better chance on our trip next year though, with the addition of Carsland.
-Fantasmic! dessert package
I'd love to do that on our next trip, but it all depends on when we'll be going and if we can budget it into our trip.
-Have breakfast at Carnation Cafe
I've only had the loaded baked potato soup there, and although it's fantastic, I really want to try their breakfast as well.

I'm sure there are many other things, but these are the ones that easily come to mind.

I have never gone to Blue Bayou, Casey Jr, Story Book, or carsland... Is that one too soon:cool1:

We have never done the Columbia or Mark Twain so am hoping to fit one in in October.
Never saw Billy Hill and am hoping to get to see them this trip.
Also, have never rode Screamin. My oldest was tall enough last July but, I was too scared for her. Think we will do it this trip.
Never done Tarzan's Treehouse and don't think we will.
Never ate at Bengal BBQ but hoping to fit it in somewhere this trip.
I have never(although my 2 oldest and hubby did) rode the swings and I don't think I ever will.
Never rode the swinging bucket on Mickey and won't EVER.
Think that is it.

I've never done Gadget's Go Coaster ( i'm paranoid i'm too fat ><)

Maybe when we come back in fall and have lost a few more pounds..

I've never been on Casey Jr. - Plan to do that this trip !

I've never been to Tom Sawyer Island/Canoes.

I'd like to do Tom Sawyer Island but canoes freak me out lol

I've never rode on the Lily Belle.

Going to check everyday when we are there and every trip this/next year !

We should also make another list called "Things you wish you didn't do"... I'll start:
Enchanted Tiki Room :)

Definitely Fantasmic desert package, splash mountain at night, space mountain done up for Halloween, the Halloween events like the trick or treat, stay at the Grand Californian or Disneylans Hotel. See the Pixar play parade, grizzly river at night, and all the new stuff arriving this year like cars land, BVS, and the new Matterhorn bobsleds.

The only things I have never done are:

Flik's Flyers
Francis's Ladybug Boogie
Truck and Roll's Drive-em Buggies

The only attractions I missed since my first visit in 1981 were:

Superstar Limo
Rocket Rods

Uncommon things I haven't done/seen:

Walt's apartment
Club 33
Dream Suite (although I was in it a lot when it was the gallery, and I did the Fantasmic desert viewing from the balcony).

Last week I got to finally ride the Lilly Belle and go in the wheelhouse on the Mark Twain. Those had been on my list for a very long time.

Fantasmic dessert package. Had tickets for it but something else came up.

Dream Suite & Walt's apartment.

WOC and most parades. Just not that excited about those things except the Christmas parade on the Holiday Tour.

Princess Fantasy Faire.

Tinkerbell and the Neverland Fairies.

Big Thunder Ranch BBQ.

Returning for our 2nd trip at the end of July. Things we didn't take in last year but would like to include this time:
Dumbo
Mark Twain River Boat
Columbia
Tom Sawyer Island
Golden Zephyr
Grizzly River Run
Think I am even going to try Tower of Terror this time!!!!

Not interested in: Autopia or Canoes

Can't wait to return to this wonderful place. :cool1:

Storybook Canal Boats and Casey Jr. Train ride
Fantasmic Dessert Pkg
Pirates Lair
Steamboat
Toontown
Little Mermaid
Try a Dole Whip
Try a mint julep
Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters and Toy Story Mania

I've never ridden Screamin' and probably never will.
I would love to ride in the Lily Belle and see Mr. Disney's apartment.

To those who are afraid of Soarin', if you close your eyes, it will feel like you are just sitting in a chair somewhere. After the slight lift-up at the very beginning, there is no movement at all; if looking at the screen makes you feel queasy, just close your eyes. I have severe motion sickness and it doesn't bother me at all.

The Matterhorn has always been closed for refurbishment when I've visited, so I'd like to ride it. And I'd like to eat at the Blue Bayou sometime.

We were just there for 6 days at the end of May and we rode/saw everything that was open, so that was awesome. Even got to ride the Lily Belle, which was really neat.

I've ridden everything at DL, but have no desire to waste ride time on Innoventions.

You'll never get me on ToT.

I'm not supposed to ride roller coasters anymore, so thankfully I can't go on Screamin' again. Once was quite enough, thank you.

But that won't stop me from riding Space Mountain, Matterhorn or BTMRR! :thumbsup2

There's a lot we haven't done at CA since we've only been once.

For as many times as I've been to Disneyland, there are actually quite a few things I've never done, or that I missed. Some of these include:

Disneyland:
-Columbia
-Tom Sawyer Island
-Billy Hill and the Hillbillies
-Honey I Shrunk the Audience (I somehow doubt it's coming back anytime soon)
-Astro Orbitor (although I did ride the old Rocket Jets back when I went in 1987.)
Princess Fantasy Faire (I think I have a valid excuse on that one.)

DCA:
-Quite a few of the Paradise Pier rides (such as the Zephyr, the Parachutes and the Maliboomer)
-Most of the Bugs Land rides
-Swinging gondolas on the Ferris Wheel
-MuppetVision (although I did see it at DHS when I went to Disney World a few years ago)
-ElecTRONica (was always too busy when it was around)
-Grizzly River Run
-Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

There are also some surprising ones that I didn't ever get around to until I went with friends last September, the most notable of these being Splash Mountain (not a big fan of getting wet while fully clothed, which also holds true for GRR.)
