2 weeks ago I helped my boss book his holiday to WDW-the website was fine, in the format I know and love. Today I have tried to price up our next trip (October 2013, boo) to find that apparently Virgin have "fiddled" with the website. Whereas before you could pick your hotel, mode of transportation, tickets, DDP and excursions, now I can only get as far as bus transfers before it starts asking for money-is it a sneaky plan to hike the cost of the holiday AFTER you have paid the deposit and they have you by the short and curlies?:scared1:

I have emailed Virgin to ask what is up with the website-also suggested if they don't want to sell park tickets there are other places to buy them. I'm so narked-I was really looking forward to booking our next holiday and they're ruining the experience!

Not sure what you have experienced but I have just done a dummy booking for August this year. I get to the point where you have the price, put in the names and DOBs of those travelling, then you select transfers or hire car. It still hadn't asked me for any money at that point. I also got the opportunity to add tickets and excursions at that point also.

No it took me straight form there to "show us the money"
However once I'd stopped ranting I have realised that I cannot get a quote on park tickets anywhere for 2013 so maybe that is why its not giving me the option.

Admit it Wilma-Bride, weren't you just a little bit tempted to press the buttion and book the "dummy holiday"?:rotfl2:

Just realise you're going then anyway! Have a great holiday

I still was tempted anyway - until my DH looked over my shoulder and asked what the heck I thought I was doing :rotfl2:

ETA: I am the one who is a bit thick - I missed the fact that you were talking about 2013. You are right, it is probably the fact that they have no idea on prices for tickets etc. that far ahead but will still allow you to book the holiday and pay a deposit, with you being able to add on tickets/excursions later.

I have been looking at 2013 too! What is annoying me about the new layout is that I can't seem to get a price break down of the quote!
