Walked off my job yesterday, and no job!!!!!, Guess what i have being doing all day? Resumes!!!!!Blah, now i am really down in the Dumps.
Sometimes a Girl has 2 do what a Girl has to do, LOL, Boo Hoo, let me go cry some more!!

Did the same thing over a year ago. Had been at the job 18 years. You will be surprised at how little it takes to live. Now working again, and life is so much better. Hang in there.

I gave my notice today to take a job that pays $3.50 less an hour. Im scared you know what less. But its just money and it will just require better budgeting. But I am scared. And its right before vacation. Great timing. But my emotional health is more important than money.

I am SO envious. Can't do it though - we need the benefits. My husbands job does not have great benefits. My job has free vision, mostly free dental, medical for the whole family for $60 a month. If I could just win the lottery....

This isn't directed specifically to the OP, but to everyone in general: You will find that as long as you're following a path that leads to your highest good (joy, peace of mind), the Universe will support you abundantly. Clinging to a stressful, unpleasant job in desperation because you "really need the money", will only attract more situations to yourself in which you don't have enough money. It's an "energy" thing - like attracts like.

Bravo to you, OP, and everyone else who has walked off a job that was slowly killing them! I did the same thing, myself, six years ago, and it was the BEST decision I've ever made. I'm happy for you as you start this exciting new adventure!

I know what you all mean, but now no insurance, just bought a car, bills are split between hubby and i , so he can't or his income will not pay all of my part, but u know i believe in God, so my piece of mind is worth more to me than all the material items in the world, so what if i have to put my car up for sale!!!
Have a interview Friday, so maybe things will go my way, and oh yes if only i could win the Lottery, hey i won 50.00 on a scratch off last nite, so maybe , who knows whats next.
P.S. I would have only been @ this job a yr. next Tuesday, have worked for my self the last 22 yrs. only gave up being self-employed because i needed benefits, now look where i'm at, anyway talked w/ DH before i took the step yesterday, and he said, Give them the keys and tell them to stick it where the Sun don't Shine, I said Yes Sir!!!!!! Thanks for every1s support!!!!
If i don't find something within a week, my GF told me to get my mattress and put it on my back and stand along I-40, LOL
