I agree that not only will people have different experiences because of personal preference and taste, but also the same people could have different experiences at the same restaurant on different trips!
I do want to point out that about a year ago there was a LONG thread about this topic (worst restaurant) and although probably nearly every restaurant made it on there at least once, someone tallied at the end of the thread and ABC Commissary was mentioned by like 37 different people!

That was enough to convince me not to try that one!
But I'm also not a very picky person, but we've had good and bad points about many of the restaurants we went to. Unlike many others, we really like Garden Grill - and my last trip was just me and a teenage son. We actually really liked the food (unlike most others) at 1900 Park Fare, but thought the character interaction was just eh. We enjoyed Le Cellier - probably not worth the hype - but a good meal and good service, especially when it's still one credit on the dining plan. Loved the food at 'Ohana (dinner) but the service was just absolutely horrible - literally throwing food at us and shoving food on the table before we'd even gotten to eat what was already there and spilling drinks in the process (without much apology).
We LOVED Les Chefs and have that on the top of our list for next visit. Also enjoyed Whispering Canyon - good food, good service (but a bit too much of each). Thought the food was fine at Prime Time but probably wouldn't go back - just too "Denny's" for me! Have always had good experiences (other than the wait) at Crystal Palace (for both lunch and breakfast). We thought the food at Sci Fi was really good and the atmosphere is great, but the service hasn't been the best - I'd still do it if I had kids but now that mine are older I probably wouldn't go back.
So I guess my point is I didn't come up with anywhere where I said "Wow, I'd NEVER go back there - everything was horrible" but do think the food is better at some places or the service at others. Chefs de France I would say was the one I found with the best of both, but we've never tried a signature restaurant (working off the dining plan).
So I might avoid ABC Commissary, but you'll probably be safe with most others if you check the menu out beforehand and are sure there's something you'll eat there!
