We are getting closer to a site visit for my daughters 2016 Wishes Wedding. We were looking at some centerpieces on the Disney Floral site. Thanks Lurkyloo for the link in your book. What happens to the centerpieces when the wedding is over. We were thinking we might like the little Mickey terrarium. It is low and not overbearing. No one will need to move it to have a conversation across the table. But what will happen to them when the reception is over? Since we are paying for them would our guests be able to take them with them? We were also looking at some roses in vases. Can our guests just take the flowers? It seems like such a waste just to leave them.

Usually at WDW when you pay for a centerpiece you are only renting the vessel it comes in. You can ask them to give you a price for keeping them. For example, the price of my centerpiece at our last IllumiNations dessert party was $105 to rent or $120 to keep. Your guests could take just the flowers, but what would they put them in? And if they took the whole thing, would they have room in their luggage for a fragile item like a vase?

A good number of our guests are driving so it would be easier to transport things. The wedding is on a Tuesday and most of the guests are spending the rest of the week at Disney so I was thinking that flowers in their rooms might be nice but without vases they would just die anyway. I have made a note to ask for the "keep" price on all of our arrangements. Little bits of information will hopefully add up to a stress free beautiful wedding for my daughter.
