What happens to FP+'s when one guest cancels

i currently have all our FP+ selected for an upcoming trip. We used the 60 day window. We have one in our group who now can't comit for sure the MYW package we have booked. As such we plan to drop her off the ressie prior to the 30 day mark (MYW packages need to be paid in full by 30 days????). Will we lose her FP+'s?? I'm hoping the system won't pick up on that as she still may come last minute and it'd be nice to still have her FP+'s in place.

Only the guest who cancels has their FPs deleted. Although you book as a group, each FP is linked to each person.

Got it. So the system will pick up on that and cancel them automatically then. I guess it's a different situation than 180+10 ADR's where they stay in place even if a resort reservation is cancelled.

Correct. Because once a guest with a package cancels, the ticket is no longer linked. In MDE, a ticket has to be linked in order to have and maintain a FP.

I have a NEW (but similar) Question regarding FP+:
My family, all annual passholders, are going to WDW towards the end of the month. Made all FP+ reservations for each day, however now 2 of us will not be joining the rest of us until 2 days after we originally planned. Is it possible to utilize the absent party member's FP+ if i have their magic bands with me in the parks, but they haven't checked into the park's "turnstiles"? Because they are AP holders there is no package to cancel for them... Hope this makes sense!

Because Disney changed the wording in their Terms of Service regarding pre-booked FPs in MDE, using FPs belonging to those who haven't entered a park can no longer be discussed on DISboards.
