what happens to a reservation during resale?

What would happen to a reservation I have after the closing date for resale?
Would it get lost in the system?
I assume even if not the buyer would then be able to cancel or change the reservation?

The reservation you made would be canceled by Disney. If you want to keep the reservation, you need to schedule the closing after the stay is completed.

When a seller lists through The Timeshare Store, Inc.® we ask the seller if they plan on keeping or canceling any pending reservations. If they plan on keeping then we advertise that the listing can close until their checkout date. If they plan on canceling then we advertise as though the reservation has already been canceled and we make sure the reservation is canceled once sold.
