What happened to the Dis App?

I joined long ago and loved using the app for the forums. It made it so much easier on my iPhone. Any chance they bring an app back?

The app was buggy even before they got rid of it, but it isn't necessary any more - the forum is very mobile friendly.

I just opened DisBoards on my phone and I agree it is very mobile friendly. thanks

I probably should have said thanks for the question, I HAD been wondering the same thing. Glad I found this thread.
I didn't know the forum was mobile friendly until after I found this thread and tried it.

My issue is that every time I close the app, or go to another app, it logs me out. It's admittedly a pain to keep having to log in!

Are you talking about your mobile browser? Then it's usually in the settings where you can choose to have the browser app save/remember login info for the site.

I'm using Google Chrome for mobile (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) and it works like a charm, I get right back in every time I click my DIS bookmark.

I don't find it as easy as the app. Call me "spoiled" but yes, I'd like an app!

I do believe you on that, if one is used to using an app, for basically whatever site or function then that's of course easier.

But I must say, to the DIS's "defense" that these boards are extremely easy to use through the mobile browser. I've encountered many other sites that are a rough struggle to get to work properly on my mobile device.
