What happened at the Poly tonight?

So we were taking the monorail from MK to VGF (I know we should've taken the boat!) and the monorail was being weird and going slow. We get to the Poly and they tell us all to get off. (And get in a huge line for the next train LOL) So we decide to walk back. When we came out of the GCH there were two or three bright blasts and then lots of sirens. Looking back at it there was still smoke over the gch over an hour later.

They were doing maintenance on the express line today but... Does anybody know what went down?

Trains went out of service Friday night due to a guest related issue. Not sure what tho. As for what happened at the poly I haven't heard anything.

By blast do you mean explosion or just visual flash? Sounds like an electrical problem led to transformer blowing based on what you described.

Visual flash. My initial thought was electrical.

I thought that was at the Contemporary on the 22nd. This was 8:30 pm on the 18th.

Not weird at all, say someone needs medical attention on one of the trains or someone isn't following the rules, they'll hold the train at the station until the proper assistance arrives. With a single train being held, the others behind will hold as well and it will delay or suspend further loading.

I heard a guest had a medical issue that needed to be dealt with. Happens all the time.
