Do you have a favorite drugstore-variety hand cream that you recommend?

Other than that, maybe Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer. It's essentially a lotion, but with benzethonium chloride as an antimicrobial.

Lubriderm all the way. Cheaper to get it at Costco than anywhere else. I use whatever would be considered the "regular" variety.

Cerave. It was recommended by my dermatologist for my very dry skin and has worked miracles. I now use the face moisturizer and cleanser as well.

I've used Neutrogena fragrance free for ages. Every once in a while I try something else (Eucerin, Up & Up, etc.). I always go back to Neutrogena.

I really like Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion for a normal every day lotion. It really absorbs well without leaving an oily residue. I generally try to buy very environmentally friendly/safe products and this isn't the best for that, but it's not among the worst either...I buy it at Costco in a 2-pack.

Cetaphil. Works great with no irritating scent or greasy residue.

I like eucerin the best. And I use to calming cream for my body as well.

Differs for everyone. I tried a Eucerin lotion once and found it be really greasy. Someone with excessively dry skin may not have felt the same.

Nivea hand cream, it's a thick paste that stays exactly where you put it for hours and doesn't wear off.

This winter I went for weeks searching for a hand cream with staying power. I got a sample size from target like abut $1, and I haven't even used it all cause it works so good.

Thanks to the OP for asking this. I'm happy with my Eucerin lotion, but my family thinks it's too greasy. This is a great list to try to find one that suits them. I'll start with Aveeno and Cetaphil, since they are suppose to be low on the oily residue.
