What are your 14-16 girls asking for. I'm seeing a lot of Uggs and Northface and some Coach purse requests in the 12-13 yr old girls thread so I'm wondering what the 14-16 yr olds want and I'm thinking DD14 (15 in Feb) might be a bit odd in the gift department. Not that I'm complaining.:rotfl2:
DD14 asked for:
A video camera
Selena Gomez Dream Out Loud clothing line
Dream Out Loud accessories
Feather earrings and hair pieces
Magnetic piercing jewelry
and
The Justin Bieber Christmas CD

She will be getting most of this. The camera and case and mini tripod plus an SD card. One Dream out Loud outfit including a scarf and purse. Dream out loud hat and gloves, A pair of feather earrings and maybe a hairpiece along with a CD and maybe a belly dancing scarf that she says she wants but really isen't expecting in her stocking. I bought her a water color set and some glitter because she is a budding artist and I know she will like them and a book titled "50 hottest teenage boys" or something like that :rotfl: just for fun. Other than that our family is getting season passes to a local theme park and water park and we spend Christmas at Great Wolf Lodge as part of our present to each other. I'm thinking I'm pretty lucky she doesn't want a ton of electronics or high end clothes. I think the whole oufit I got her was less than any one piece of clothing I've seen listed on here. So what is your teenage girl asking for?

Northface jacket, Uggs were last yr... clothes, cash, high end makeup (mac?), i phone, or ipad, a horse and a 4 wheeler. You know not too much... lol

I have a 16-year-old sister and am giving her a Shell Gas gift card for Christmas. I have no idea what she wants, but I'm sure she'll love it.

My 15yo is more into electronics than clothes so she asked for fake uggs because she needs new boots. She also wants a camera and an acoustic guitar.

I asked my 14yo daughter what she wanted for Christmas and she said.....

:confused3

Thanks for making it easy on me, kid. :headache:

So.... I'm winging it.

Well, my daughter is 17 but here are some things she and her friends like:

Toms shoes
Tall leather riding boots, preferably brown
Pea Coats
The North Face jackets
Designer perfumes (Juicy, Ed Hardy, Coach, etc.- my daughter is getting Coach Poppy perfume this year)
iPhones, iPads or iPod touch
money or gift cards
moccasins
feather earrings or feathers for the hair

I shy away from buying my daughter shirts or pants unless she specifically asks for a particular item. She's picky about her clothing plus she loves going shopping so money (or gift cards) is best.

DD asked for the Bamboo Create. I got her that and animation software.
She'll also get books and perfume. I usually do giftcards for clothing because she's getting particular about colors and fit. It's too hard to pick for her anymore.

Laptop and a tatoo (she's not getting a tatoo). She wants a Northface jacket, and clothes (I forget the brand - she wants me to get her a catalogue). Maybe some high end perfume and makeup.

Last year, DD14 got Uggs, Coach purse, Nikon camera, and Clinique make-up along with some clothes. She was thrilled with everything. This year I'm not so sure what we are getting her except for a gift certificate to have a keratin hair treatment which she asked for. I will have to ask if she is into the North Face jackets. She never wears a jacket/coat which drives me crazy so if she will wear it I will get it for her.

My niece is 14. She is very "girlie" though. Some big things with her are:

1. High end cosmetics.
2. High end make up brushes (this would make a great gift!)
3. High end hair products and devices (flat iron, curler, crimper, etc)
4. Make up organizers and mirror
5. Gift cards/cash for clothes- unless she is asking for something specific
6. High end purses/wallets
7. Jewlery that she can layer

My niece is really into zebras/zebra print so I found this awesome set of bangle bracelets that have a few zebra prints mixed in. Not over the top zebra, but definitely enough. I hope she likes them. I will round out her gift with a gift card to Ulta or Sephora. I also had considered giving her a bus ticket to NYC and I would take her up, feed her a nice dinner and let her spend her Xmas money on a shopping spree. We are about 2.5-3 hours away from NYC and a ticket is about $45RT for us plus the meal. I will probably do that next year. I am big on giving her "experiences" now that she is older.

My 14 year old wants a longboard skateboard as her main gift-they seem popular here. Gift cards, of course-she has her own fabulous sense of style and I don't pick clothes out for her anymore. Art supplies, as she is an artist.

My niece that turned 16 last week is asking for earrings (birthstone or otherwise), yoga pants, Target or Itunes gift cards, and money for Florida trip.

I am at a total loss at what to get my 16 year old daughter. So thank you all for posting all your ideas.

Last year she got a camera, uggs, and an ipad. Her 16th birthday was last week and she got heirloom jewelry from us, her grandmother and her aunt. She also got itunes cards and an iphone. It is so hard when her birthday is right on top of Christmas. When I ask her what she wants she says she has no idea except for a car charger that works without taking the case off her iphone.

Keep those ideas coming.

Thanks

My 14 year old DD has three things on her list
New computer monitor 21 inch +
Healies (little retro thing going here, remembering her "youth", :thumbsup2)
and a Hamster (the other day she suggested horse back riding lessons in lieu of the pet)
other things she wanted while out shopping:
Hats, including but not limited to the really heavy trooper like hats
boots
a furniture like jewelery box
Ikea accessories for her room
a Gir hoodie from hot topic

My 18 year old DD said, Money, gift cards, new screen for her laptop (cracked it) and an i-pod touch
Donna

My 14 year old has 5 items on her list: laptop, video camera, Barnes and Noble gift cards (she has a Nook and loves to read), a Sealand royal title (don't ask), and a ukelele. :)

Kim

Vera Bradley bag and a North Face Jacket are the tops of her want list.

The only thing my 14 yo dd has specifically asked for is a new bow for her violin. Since the ones she wants run several hundred dollars, she's not getting much more.

I've gotten her a VB cross-body bag, and will get her a few little odds and ends.

We don't encourage the trendy, high end brands unless they can be gotten with large discounts. So, she knows we'd never buy a Coach bag or the more popular style Uggs. So those sorts of things tend not to make her lists.
