What Food Do You Love That Others Think Is Nasty?

My father loves pickled pigs feet.

I admit that I love pork rinds and pickled okra.

What foods do you like that other people gag over?

I don't know if other people think it's gross but I love french fries and country gravy. Not any other kind of gravy just country. I also like FF with jerk sauce. But I never like ketchup.

Sardines, anchovies, really any kind of smelly fish! Even with skin and bones ... mmmm....

Oh and goat is delicious (people tend to cringe when I say that! )

Dutch Licorice.

Very, very, very salty black licorice. And I like the double salted version.

DMIL, who is a huge fan of black licorice, and very much a proper lady, actually projectile spit it across the room when she put it into her mouth

My favorite food is cabbage. Raw, boiled, fried, sauteed. With or without dressing. I love it. Followed by beets. Yum.

I eat lemons on occasion. People cringe when they see me bite into one, but I love them!

a couple of odd food combinations:

I love some french fries in mayo...but only certain kinds.

when I was younger and all that was left in the house was:

cheddar cheese
dill pickles
mayo
saltines

we made these into a meal and it is still one of my favorite snacks (every once in awhile)

I have another to add to my list. My ex-husband actually refused to go with me to seafood places because this disgusted him so much. I like to mix tartar sauce with malt vinegar and dip my fish in it.

I do that too!! Heck, I even got dh to do that! Its tasty.
