DH.....has always had a beard but it's so white and short now I barely notice it anymore
My two oldest sons have beards but not too long.
Youngest DS will grow a small beard every now and then but I don't think DIL likes it much because it disappears a lot. :teeth:

Brothers never have had beards.
All my nephews....it's about half and half.

Me - none, I shave every morning.

My older son (20) - full on beard, Grizzly Adams looking.
My younger son (16) - some facial hair, depends on how long it's been since he's shaved. His school forbids facial hair (Catholic school), but since they wear masks all day long, he can get away with a little facial hair. It doesn't look like he'll be able to grow a beard like his brother, however. It doesn't look good on him.

Hubby at times has a beard, at times has a moustache and a beard, and at times, is cleanshaven. One of my brother in laws is always clean shaven , if I ever saw him with a beard/moustache, I wouldn't recognize him..lol. The other brother in law has a very dark very full beard. It's not my favorite look on men, I have to say. :(

My grandfathers and my dad never had facial hair. Well, according to photos, my dad briefly had a mustache during his time in the Air Force, but never any other time in his life. My brother usually has a mustache and sometimes a beard as well.

I actually prefer men with facial hair, a mustache at the very least.

Eldest son recently trimmed his very bushy beard to something a bit cleaner looking... he had such a baby face and now he sports a giant red beard and no, it's not my favorite...
Youngest is clean shaven all the time thanks to Uncle Sam!
Husband is bald but Sept-January he sports a beard, sometimes it morphs into a goatee before he shaves it all off.

Besides the occasional 5 o’clock shadow the only one that has any facial hair is my dad. He has had a mustache since long before I was born. My mom always told him he wasn’t “allowed” to shave it off. Now that he’s 70 I doubt he ever will.

Thankfully, my husband has no facial hair. My son-in-law has Native blood so very little facial hair. My grandson is just beginning to get a little hair on his upper lip and is very proud of it.

I've had moustache since early 70's (the years, not my age), so 55+ years now.

My son has moustache on and off, different styles. Never know what he will have. He generally will grow a goatee or beard when on vacation. He can't have a beard when not on vacation and on active duty. Firefighter face mask has to seal tight on the face.

(example....not my son though)

Husband has mustache and goatee.
Son has full beard (medium length) and mustache.
Grandson - 24, same as his Dad (our son)
Grandson - 16, no facial hair
Grandson - 16, beard (short) - must be okay with the school and his job

My DH goes back and forth between a full on beard(short trimmed) and goatee with a mustache. I prefer he didn't shave it all off...:p

My dad has a goatee and my brother has a full on beard...like Duck Dynasty-ish...lol

My dad - primarily clean shaven, but he has occasionally grown a beard through the winter months.
My FIL - always clean shaven.
My husband - always has a short/trimmed beard. He will occasionally trim it down to a goatee.
My son - Clean Shaven d/t Uncle Sam
My nephews - about 70% clean shaven, the others have varied facial hair.

I like the look, but DH does not. He will grow one for me once in a while, but it doesn't last too long before he calls it enough torture and shaves again.
None of my relatives had beards, a couple would have a mustache now and then, but not regularly.

DH always shaves, but DS has been experimenting a little bit lately with letting his grow. I'm not sure whether he'll keep it or not (or if he keeps it, what the final shape will be.)

My brother favors a mustache pretty much all the time, but changes his beard a lot - generally has a small one, though.

My dad shaves nowadays, but I remember he had side burns when I was really little! (1970s)
