Check out www.allearsnet.com. They have booths set up around the WS were you can buy food & wine from various countries. More countries just ones one that have pavillions. I did not notice extra tables set up.

Last year was my first food & wine festival. It was pretty neat, there were approximately 15 carts from various countries set up around the world showcase offering their favorite wines and beers produced from their respective nations. In addition, each cart also offers samples/appetizers. It was expensive, every drink and snack (small samples) was around $5. Also at the outdoor (USA) theatre they have a musical group (well known rock group, i.e. Beach Boys) that performs several times during the evening hrs. My wife and I are going again next week and will eat cheap meals so we can enjoy the festival.

I have been going to the Food and Wine Festival since 1997 and I cannot miss it and would die if I couldn't go. I love it and you have to try it.
I love the wine seminars and all the valuable info I learn about wines and I love to walk around the countries and try different little bites of foods I've never had.

I normally am there each year on the first day of the festival but since they moved up the opening day to 10/1 I'll miss that.....boo. I'm going down in 21 days so I'll have to just wait.

It's a great excuse to make a trip without the kids, who would HATE waiting in line for food and wine sampling. I call it the "Wine without the Whine" tour.

Not every drink and snack is $5.

Usually the items vary in price from roughly $1.25 to $5 or so. Now if you decide that you want to purchase something from the champagne/cognac/brandy kiosk, you'll be forking over some moneyl
