I hear it talked about but I have no idea what it is. Just a quick little recap will work fine. Thanks in advance.

There are 5 lock-offs on the 6th floor next to the CL lounge at Jambo. The views from the rooms are pretty bad. You get daily room cleaning and turn down service, access to a restricted safari that you have to pay for if it is offered during your stay, access to a small lounge with some food and drink offerings at different times of the day. The food can be anything from cheese crackers to 3 warm finger foods from one of the restaurants. Beer & wine, soft drinks, continual breakfast and such.

Worth the cost for a short stay at least once.

There are two things referred to as concierge. First, there are the concierge club level suites, these are only available at AKV Jambo House.

Then there are the resort concierges. They are located on the lobby of your resort and they can help you with park tickets, Disney dining reservations, printing out your room charges and so forth. Basically a guest services desk.

Well that explains it. :lmao: Ok I think what I was referring to is the lockoff rooms. Interesting concept. Do people here actually book concierge?

We booked a 1BR Club Level (Concierge) Villa at AKV once in order to gain access to the Sunset Safari tour. We enjoyed the tour -- however we didn't enjoy the 'Concierge' service or room. As stated above, the room locations offer an obscured view; you can't guarantee Savannah view; you have a good chance of getting an HA unit; the onsite concierge staff were slow and unresponsive; that we had 'Club Level' created a 2-hour delay in our check-in process; etc.

While we enjoyed the tour the "costs" of booking Concierge, as measured in points, time and great inconvenience, made the overall experience unpleasant.

We love the concierge! We stay there as often as we can. We are staying there in July for half of our trip in a 1 bedroom... I love having the concierge service as well! They have gotten us last minute reservations and also got information for us on activities we did not know about and booked them for us. The food is not great, but the breakfast is perfect and the beer, wine and cordials are a nice perk:hyper: The view is not the best, but we are hardly ever in the room. We are up and at the pool to drink our coffee every morning.
