What else to say to the characters???

Some questions for the (desperate housewives) princesses... princess:

Ask Belle if her husband is an Animal? (get it)

Ask Cinderella if her husband still drives a pumpkin?

Ask Snow White if she is always left at home with 7 little ones?

Ask Ariel if she wears Fish Net stockings?

Ask Aurora if she just pretends to be asleep?

(taken from a cartoon)

On our last trip we asked Snow White if she likes apples...she said Yes! She said that the evil step mom couldn't ruin her apples anymore or something like that. I was hoping for her to say NOOOO! but I think because I had DD4 she went with the nice answer!

We also met Tiana and Naveen. We asked Tiana what her fave thing to cook is and she had a long conversation with DD about Gumbo and how to make it. Naveen said his fave is mac-n-cheese and DD agreed. Great interaction with them.

DD had gotten her face painted like a white kitten in EP and then we saw Marie in France. It was our longest wait for a character for that trip but it was worth it. Marie danced with DD and hugged her several times, pointing at their faces and how they matched. We neded up getting the baby Marie with a blanket for DD as a surprise for when we got home.

I haven't quite finished reading this thread yet, but I just thought of 2 great interactions from our trip last year...

We were looking everywhere for chip and dale and finally found them at AK. well DFi asked them about the old Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers cartoon and they got all superhero-like and excited at the concept of chipmunks flying a plane :lmao:

We also went looking for Donald Duck to ask him a very specific question. I watched an old cartoon with my godson in which Donald showers then wraps a towel around himself. Well my godson asked why Donald had to if he didn't wear pants to begin with. Well I figured this could be interesting so I promised I'd ask. Well I did and Donald shrugged, then realized what I was asking, looked down tried to cover himself and and went to his CM frantically pointing to where his pants would be. To which the CM told him he's a duck and they don't wear pants...Donald hung his head like he was sad and started walking toward one of the gift shops...possibly in hopes of finding pants :confused3 :lmao:

That Donald Duck story is fantastic!

My friend and I were just at WDW in Sept, celebrating our birthdays (no kids!, no husbands!) We had great character interaction at MNSSHP.

The Queen of Hearts had us stand just like her!

Then, we met Rafiki and Timone, we had them all to ourselves! Rafiki proposed to my friend and they danced together. Not to be outdone, Timone grabbed my arm like he was going to "walk me down the aisle". They were a lot of fun.

When we ran across Chip and Dale in their "space gear", I mentioned to one of them that I like his outift. He made a motion to me that he liked mine, too.

Then the best one was with the 7 Dwarfs. We went up to Grumpy and surrounded him on either side to give him a kiss. Boy, did we get a reaction! He got up and stomped off (just a few feet away). After he came back and we took the picture, I quietly asked him if he was going to be okay and he nodded his head!!

At HS in front of the Hat, DD15 asked Donald why there was so much Mickey stuff all over the place, and how he was her favorite and there should be more Donald stuff.

Donald nodded and jumped up and down and pointed at the Hat and crossed his arms over his chest, and then when he autographed her book he scribbled all over the picture of Mickey on the page he was signing.

We also asked Mickey when he was going to marry Minnie, and Minnie just giggled.

not sure if this has been said:

Bring Chip and Dale a bag of acorns. DS1 collected a bag of acorns for them on our last trip and waited patiently for several days till we got a chance to meet them. He presented them with the bag and it was wonderful. Chip wanted all of the nuts, DS1 said he had to share, Dale got excited. Then both Chip and Dale took DS1 by the hand and lead him to some trees (luckily oak) picked out some acorns for him and presented them to DS1. We still have those and now it is one our list of things to do.

Whe we go to the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast in a couple of weeks, I plan on asking Mary Poppins what her secret is...no matter how many times I snap my fingers my house won't clean itself.

Wear your pirate medallion when you see Hook --- he made a huge scene with my then 12 yrd old DD, throwing the book on the ground and storming away after she refused to give it to him -- Smee got involved, it was like a 15 minute ordeal, it was awesome!! Peter Pan on the other hand, was "scared" and didn't like the medallion -- she had to literally take it off or he wouldn't take a pic with her :-) that was 3 years ago, and she still remembers!

Definitely talk to Vidia (Tinkerbell fairy area) about getting stuck in a bottle!!!

My son (who is autistic) and didn't know what can of worms he was opening up at all. Said oh - its the fairy who gets stuck in a bottle... she just went on and on and on. The pictures we got from the conversation are so animated. So much that the people after us asked about the bottle too!!!!

My kids asked Mary Poppins how she is able to fly at the 1900 PF breakfast. She came out with a cute answer about not spilling the secret. Mary Poppins at EPCOT was also very good with my son (he is autistic) and she was super sweet with him.

The first time I met Dr. Facilier at the Villains Mix and Mingle I was a bit out of it so all I said was "hi" and "thanks". I was determined to say more the second time, and because my brain to mouth filter doesn't quite work all that well, I ended up telling him he smelled nice. I'm pretty sure he hadn't gotten that one before because he was speechless for a few seconds before saying thank you. :lmao: As I walked away he said something else but all I could hear was "what a shadow man smells like" so I'm not sure what he said.

DH is still teasing me saying "I can't believe you hit on the shadow man right in front of me" but I really wasn't! I just made an observation without thinking about it first!

That is too cute! Sounds like something I would say. I was telling DH about this thread and he was like "oh gosh, just dont embarass me". Which is too funny, cuz I am like you and never really have anything good to say. I may just come up with something clever:rolleyes1

Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb should be showing up before too long. I've been practicing my Perry imitation:

(clears throat)

DD & I were at a meet & greet w/Captain Hook & Smee, when it was time for DH to snap the picture asked Captain Hook if those large black spaces in his teeth were bugs, he went ballistic!! It was funny! Smee thought it was funny too!

I am not into the character playing. No kids, no signatures, I just want get my photo, thank them and move on. However, sometimes the characters like to play games with ME. Alice at DL was making circles around the front of the park with the Mad Hatter and was rude (maybe in character?) and would NOT pose with me nor stop or slow down for a picture. I didn't get it - is she supposed to be that way? She did stop for a little girl and was friendly. Not for an adult.

I also had Belle and the Beast at DL argue over me. He was acting like I was going to be his new girlfriend and Belle had some very long suffering comments about how he always acted like a beast around pretty girls and please excuse him.

Years ago Chip and Dale practically assaulted me in WDW. Smashed between them, grabbed and not let alone, fighting to get my attention. It was a bit much physically - not sexual - just suffocating and a bit bruising. Like in a NY subway train at rush hour. Lol
