What else to say to the characters???

Is it bad that I just want to snuggle up next to Captain Jack when I meet him and get a smoochy photo op with him!?! I might have to fight my mom for his attention. Think he'll be mad if I ask to hold his sword?! :rolleyes1

Does anyone know if Malificent ever appears? She is so cool... totally my favorite villian, although Cruella is pretty awesome too.

I have pictures of me "swooning" in Captain Jack's arms, and I've kissed Prince Caspian.

I always tell the mad hatter that its my "unbirthday" and I love asking Alice and the mad hatter about their tea parties. We told alice that we were from New Hampshire and she replied "well, that must have been a very long rabbit hole."
Also, we met the Queen of hearts and I was wearing my cheshire cat sweatshirt and the queen got all mad and made off with your head gestures. But I secretly think she liked the shirt.
Last year for MNSSHP I was the cheshire cat and my dd was alice. We got some great responses from the alice characters.
Ok last one, my dd20 months, was in love with the princesses this trip, Ariel and Cinderella both knelt down and let her sit in their laps. She was wearing her princess dress, the reactions we priceless.

These are GREAT! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

My favorite is when I went to DW with my mom (a mother/daughter trip :) ), we were waiting in line to get Cruella's autograph, and the family in front of us just finished getting their autograph and tried to walk away. The father had a camera case hanging off his shoulder, and Cruella said something like "You forgot to take a picture." He said that is ok. She said "The least I can do is take a picture of you." He looked really confused, but he handed her his camera and the family started getting ready to pose. Cruella promptly turns around and starts walking away with the camera saying "Imbeciles!' :rotfl2: The entire crowd about rolled on the ground. The family got their camera back, but it was really funny!

My son was about 12 or so when he said to Sleeping Beauty, "I'm really not into you but my mom wants a picture." I then told poor Aurora not to take it personally and that she's really pretty.

I love this thread!!!!! What fun! We leave in two weeks for our trip. When I shared some of the ideas to my daughter for some things to say to the characters she got so excited. Here are some ideas we thought of:

Ask Pocohontas if she misses John Smith.
Last time we were there we chanced upon Chip, Dale, and Clarice was with them. You could tease Chip and Dale about Clarice liking the other one better.
Ask Belle what her favorite book is to read.
Ask Pluto if Mickey ever lets him in his house or if only gets to stay in his dog house.
There's just were from off the top of the head. We'll keep thinking. I hope others share lots of ideas.

Sorry all...I'm a newcomer and didn't think my original post went on...attempted another and found I doubled myself. Oops!

You could tell Donald that Mickey is okay but he's the best and that it really should be the Donald Duck Club...lol I'll bet that would warrant a good reaction! When I was little I always did feel bad for poor Donald and I can understand him since I can be a bit of a hothead myself lol!

We are lucky enough to be in Disney @ the Boardwalk Villas this week (yay!!!) & I had the pleasure of meeting Ariel two days ago. She was SO ADORABLE! I asked her if she likes having human legs or being a mermaid better, and she told me it was a hard decision because she LOVES living in the ocean, but also likes having legs because of all the cute shoes you can buy!! She was soooo cute. I loved it!!:cloud9:

Haven't read the thread so I don't know if it's covered, but Aladdin in Morocco at Epcot yesterday, when asked, belted out a really great song for us to remind the kids which movie he was from :)

characters technically are not allowed to sing, even if they have a good voice. attendants will most likely intervene if they are asked, so i would try to steer away from that area :)

I haven't had a chance to read through this thread but wanted to add what my 5 year old decided to say to a character. We were eating at Crystal Palace and along came Piglet. My DD holds up her bacon and says, "I'm sorry I'm eating you!" :rotfl2:

My almost 2 year old loves Da Duck! While waiting in line in Animal Kingdom to meet him, DS kept wiggling and waving and saying Duck, Duck! He tried to run right through the line to him. When it was our turn, Donald knelt down and held his arms out for my son to run into them. I told Donald he was DS's favorite and Donald picked him up and smothered him with kisses. The autograph he gave DS was personalized too! Yay!

On our honeymoon while eating at Chef Mickey's, Mickey made a big fuss over our bride and groom ears. DH asked Mickey why he had not proposed to Minnie. Mickey grabbed one of the empty juice glasses and turned it upside down and laid it on his finger. He said Minnie wanted too big of a ring! It was very cute!

What a great thread!!! Thanks for the tips everyone!
