I just made reservations for June at Le Cellier. When I got the confirmation, I noticed something very interesting.

Where it shows how many exchanges on the dining plan, it shows that for the REGULAR DDP, it "costs" 2 TS for dinner. But, for the DELUXE DDP, it only costs 1 for dinner. What's up with that??? Did I miss something? I had heard/read that Le Cellier was 2 TS for dinner, regardless.

I dont know if it will copy well, but this is what it shows:

Use the chart below to find the number of Table-Service Meals redeemed per person at this restaurant for each dining plan.
Disney Dining Plan Type Entitlements Used At Location
2011
Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Quick service dining plan — — —
Dining plan — 1 2
Deluxe dining plan — 1 1
Premium dining plan — 1 1
Platinum dining plan — 1 1

That's how the deluxe plan works - all meals count for 1 TS credit on the deluxe plan.

No, I think you're mistaken. On the DxDDP, HDDR, Yachtsman and CRT still count for 2TS.

Could be - but I've seen posts here saying that they take 1 credit from you on the deluxe plan per person, even for signatures. I have never done it, just going by what I have seen stated here in the past. It's possible I'm confusing that with platinum/premium or am just wrong.

1) DxDP still has 1- and 2-credit meals, the same as basic DDP. The platinum and Premium all-inclusive plans are the ones that are always 1 credit.

2) Do not trust the online system for pretty much any type of restaurant info.

I think you may have missed something. I just looked at the deluxe dining brochure for 2011, and it says Le Cellier 1 TS credit lunch/dinner. After March it said 1 TS credit for lunch, and 2 for dinner.

What did I miss? What you stated is exactly what I expected to see; however, it's not the information that Disney sent out. I expected to see 1TS for Lunch and 2TS for Dinner (in June). The information they sent out says 1 TS for Lunch and 2TS for Dinner FOR REGULAR DINING PLAN, but 1 TS/1TS for DxDDP.

I'm sure it must be a type-o on their part, but still.

The web site is wrong yet again. Check the .pdf of the plan brochure for definitive information, because the ADR booking site is FULL of errors about restaurants' dining plan status.

Yesterday I booked Le Cellier for dinner and it counted as 2 TS credits. I am on the delux dining. When I called today about another reservation, the woman asked if I realized the Le Cellier would count as 2. It is probably a computer glitch.

Good to know. Thanks. That's what I'd thought, but I began to wonder if I was misinformed.
