What dvd do you wish Disney would put out?

We can't wait for The Little Mermaid. :D

I have to agree with Song of the South. You can't truly understand or really appreciate splash mt. until you have seen this. Now I do know if you do a little searching, you can find the movie, but again you have to search.

Another is Marry Poppins. I love chim chiminey. :)::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Song of the South. My father and I were just talking about this recently.

Most of these other movies you can buy if you search online. I just bought The Little Mermaid off Amazon a few weeks ago.

Add me to the Song of the South list!

Another Song of the South. I have vauge memories of it from when I was a child and would love to see it again and to let my kids see it.:sunny:

Thanks for the tips. I'll have to hunt around on Amazon now. :D

Another vote for Song of the South. I, too, have very vague memories of it. I would love to see it again, and for my children to see it so that they understood the tie-in to Splash Mountain's theme.

About eight or nine years ago, my dd was the most popular babysitter in our neighborhood because we had the only vhs tape of The Little Mermaid! She would take it on every babysitting job. I can't tell you how many offers we had from parents who wanted to buy it from us because it hadn't been released in a long time and they now had young children. That's when I started buying two extra copies of every movie released - so that I can give a set of all the Disney movies to both of my children when they start having children! :)

P.S. Shhhhhh! This is a surprise - my dd and ds don't know about this. Neither does my dh, who knows not of my shopping habits! ;)

I wish Disney would put out Gummi Bears on DVD. I believe there were 80+ episodes. My kids loved them when they were little. It was a great series

Edible dvd's for kids... now that's a thought! haha Just kidding, Lanshark! ;)

Mary Poppins here...I have it on tape when ME announced it on Magical World of Disney..so we have early 90s commercials in the middle.

I have never seen Song of the South and would love to see that one too.

As for me, now that they own the Muppets, I would like to see Fraggle Rock released on DVD

I for one would LOVE To see them put out the MUPPET SHOW on DVD by season...I now they have best ofs, but I want the complete series... ::yes::

Jungle Josh

I am eagerly awaiting Aladdin this fall, and I also wish that Cinderella's release date were sooner. ::yes::

I would also love to see a Disney Treasures DVD on the development of WDW (they have a great one on Disneyland).

I know it doesn't seem to be much of a favorite, but on October 26, 2004, three weeks after Aladdin 's release, Mulan is released.

And speaking of Disney Treasures , I'd like to see them release all of the True-Life Adventures. Especially The Living Desert and The Vanishing Prarie.

None to add, but I'd love to have the Mickey Mouse Club episodes to share with my kids. Splash is my favorite ride, so I'd love to see Song of the South be an option. I need Donald in Mathmagic Land. :p

I followed Dan's link to see the list of Disney DVD's available (thanks, Dan!). If you look in the upper right hand corner, you can search for specific titles. I was able to find all three using search. Of course, they all said unavailable. There's a place to click to request notification when it is released! If enough people say they're waiting for a particular title, I wonder if it would have an impact.
