What does your tween daughter (ages 10-12) want for Christmas?

M magazine renewal - Read
William Sanoma kids cook book (this I may give to her for her birthday so she can cook over her winter break )


What she want's
Ipod touch - Nano is fine so no way
Dsi - DS is fine so nope not gonna happen
She also want's some Style DS game which I'm sure she'll get for her birthday from some other family memeber.

I have two tweens:

My DD 12 wants:
New Ipod in Green-getting it but trying to decide on a refurbished or one from Wal-MartLaptop - not getting
Aero or Hollister clothes - getting an outfit from Aero & a GC from Hollister
Room re-do in Neon green - getting a comforter - my DH will be painting room in the spring
Twilight stuff - getting as stocking stuffers

My DD (almost 10) wants:
Ipod-maybeDSi - no just way too much and won't be able to use her fav Game Boy games
AG stuff - getting a couple of things but no new dolls; she's getting a cheer outfit that is an exact duplicate of her competition cheer uniform
Clothes - getting a couple of outfits and a GC to Justice & Aero

They are also getting stuff for our upcoming Spring trip to the Galapagos and South America!

Just to let you know, you can play game boy games in a DS. I'm not sure about the DSi because DD doesn't have one , but in a DS for sure.

You cannot play Game Boy Advance games in the DSi only in the DS Lite. I think it's because it does not have the special slot for it.

My kids also get 3 gifts from Santa because baby Jesus did. DD10 is asking Santa for an Ipod nano, a magic kit - lol-and an art kit. Her stocking will have things like a ds game, bath and body works goodies, apple gift card, a webkinz (tradition to have one peeking out of their stockings every year), & some goodies from Claire's. On Christmas eve they always get new pj's and family games -clue, electronic Monopoly, and they will each get a zhu zhu hampster and share a bunch of the accesories, and possibly Toy storia mania wii game.

the kids joint gift will be the wii fit plus. Im still undecided if I should wait and give her american idol wii game for her bday in Feb.

DD10 was adopted when she was 3 days old. Her father told her she was a gift from heaven. So for years she thought she just floated down to us because her middle name is Angel. Now that she understands adoption and knows that there are many many kids waiting for families. She thinks you goto a store and just pick out the kid you want. I keep trying to tell her it just isn't that easy and we don't have the funds to adopt again. She is soo funny.

Wow, can't believe how many kids have iPods. DD15 says "everyone has them" and I figured it was like when I was a kid and said that, but it was a strech. Guess not.

No one in our house has one (DH and I included), with MP3 players being so cheap they won't unless they buy it themselves. I guess now a days when kids say "everyone else has one" there is some validity to it.

My tween is DD10 and she is getting an MP3 player that I got for $10 after rebate a while back, a Snuggie, toy wise she is getting the Justice version of Jenga. They are all getting a netbook (getting on BF) and 2 Wii games to share.

She is hoping for an alarm clock and some clothes, not sure beyond that.
