My "change jar" is a five-feet tall turquoise plastic crayon bank. It sits in the hallway at the top of the stairs so we can't forget to deposit our change.

What do you use to collect your Disney change?

Mine is a tin cookie tin that my mom brought over at Christmas. I also have a plastic red pig. Both are in my closet. Now when I come home. I take of the 70 cents I need for bus zone fare the next day and the rest goes in the jar.

Yesterday cleaning my room I found 5.00 and threw that in too.

I bought popcorn at Magic Kingdom last week and it came in a cute "bucket" that says Magic Kingdom on it........Back 3 days and saving for the next trip!!!!princess:

Ours is a 5 gallon water jug that our chiropractor gave to us. Saving up for December. :teeth:

Mine is a clear jar...
And its pretty empty....

Wanna send something to the STTTDW Fund?

I have an old glass cannister I bought in my very first house! The neck part is chipped with a hole large enough to slip change through without removing the lid. Unfortunately, it is only 1/4 full with mostly non-silver coins - and we were heading to Disney in July!

Ours is a huge wine bottle. We only store dimes (anything else may not come out too easy). It holds about $550! Nice Disney chunk change. We keep the rest of our change in plastic casino coin cups.

I use a regular old Mason jar. It is sitting in a niche in my bedroom. Looks like I need to get a more creative jar!

I made ours several years ago. It's an empty "Disney" juice bottle (forget what company makes it). Anyway, it has raised images of the characters around the top. Around the main part of the bottle, I made and laminated a scene of paper dolls of dh, ds and me wearing Disney outfits and Mickey ears (also holding Mickey balloons) and titled it "Our Disney Fun Fund". Yeah, I'm a scrapbooker!!

mine is an old hawaiin punch jug without the label on it! LOL not very creative here. i have thought about putting disney stickers on it but it isnt just for disney. it is our vacation saving jar. whatever we get out of it is our "blow" money.

And we went to see Dh's uncle this weekend and did some yard work for him. He handed DS the new state quarter (since DS was born the same year these started, Uncle D bought him a quarter map and sends him a new quarter as soon as the come out), then he hands him a huge vitamin bottle and says "here you can have these too" I'm thinking OK preschooler doesn't take adult vitamins, then DS hands me the bottle and it's really heavy and then Uncle D explains that it's full of just "regular" quarters. So, now our jar is looking like it's PRETTY FULL!!

I have a plastic jar that was once filled with pretzel "balls". I taped a "vacation fund" print with the Orlando park logos on the front of it and an image of coins on the lid. The lid is glued fast to avoid dipping. We had to empty the jar in January and it's been a slow restart.

Our WDW Disney change jar is a MIckey's Coffee Can from WDW. It sits on our kitchen counter and I feed it often. When it's full I take it to the bank and exchange for paper bills which I save for our next trip. It's amazing how fast loose change adds up!

We have a LARGE plastic pretzel container we bought at Costco! It's perfect and pretty full of coins and bills for our trip in less than three weeks!!! Can't wait. The coins really do add up to a lot of money, never thought it would, but we did it for our December trip and accumlated a couple hundred dollars!!! It was GREAT!

So, we will cash this one in before our upcoming trip and start up another fund for our next family trip to experience the MAGIC!!
:wave2:

Mine is a large textured wide-mouthed glass jar with a large cork-like top. I think candy bars from some really good candy company came in it! It was a gift a few years back from a patient at the doctor's office where I work. I put a "Walt Disney World" scrapbooking sticker around the neck and several other Disney stickers all over it.

DS19's is a big, plastic pretzel container from Sam's with brown wrapping tape all around the outside so he won't see the money and get tempted!

DD12's is a Pokemon sock!! HAHA

Mine is a ceramic piggy bank that I was given for opening a banking account when we lived in Germany.

I'm not very creative--ours is just an empty gallon milk jug. Its only half full and not growing very fast. That's because we seldom use cash. I use American Express for everything I can to get the ff miles. Guess that adds up better than the change jar!

We have two penny jars in the laundry room--one is just a large plastic cup, and the other is a vintage glass lighting fixture turned upside down (can you tell I'm a yard sale/estate sale addict??). We have a jar for silver change in our closet, and it's a large Mason-jar type thingy with a glass top and a metal hinge.

We have an old plastice pretzel barrel as ours. It's rather big and excites us when we get it filled half way.

Yesterday we cashed it in.
Can't wait for our trip.

4 more days!!! yippee.
