What does U mean on a report card?

It's on DS16's report card for Drivers Ed... U isn't listed in the grading key. Does it mean Ungraded perhaps??? Technically DE isn't over yet.. just the classroom part...
 
Well, I don't know. In kindergarten, it meant unsatisfactory. I don't know what it would mean for a teen though.
 
The only time we had letters like that was my 1st semester of college-U was Unsatisfactory (and S was Satisfactory). We had a sort of pass/fail 1st semester so those were the 2 options for your grades. Not sure if that is what it would mean for your son though.
 
I would have thought Unsatisfactory but there isn't a Satisfactory option listed either... A,B,C,D,F, I=Incomplete, W=Withdrawn.... :confused3
 

U was equal to F for me in high school. It seems to me that since DE isn't over yet then maybe the U stands for unfinshed...?
