What does the dinning plan code as on credit card statements?

I am trying to earn some chase points and would like to know if anyone who has used a credit card to purchase their dinning plan can look and see what it coded as? I know it is most likely dinning or travel but I have seen on another site where some Disney stuff codes as entertainment. Thanks for the help!

The Dining Plan is not a separate charge, it is all bundled together as one with the rest of the package (resort/tickets) and more than likely will be categorized as entertainment.

I looked back at some of my Chase statements and my Disney Room Only charges were categorized as Travel. Packages may be different.

I actually just added the dining plan to our reservation. Since it was under 30 days, I paid for it at the same time, so this charge was only for the dining plan. I put it on my Chase Sapphire Reserve and it was coded as travel, so 3x points. Hope this helps!

Hi, asking about Capital One specifically, did you book Dining as part of that package? (I didn't originally but am going to add it and probably pay using Cap 1 card.)

I have a capital one business card and I can always pay for the dining plan that is part of my package with credit card points. That is the main reason we get the dining plan.
