What does "snarky" mean?

Stinkerbelle, Hey, you got another tag, too! Besides the naughty one...

Cool! :cool1: :earsgirl: My desk always looks that way.

LOL I'm so proud of myself for finally figuring out how to post a signature pic. I'd like to put that one as an avatar, but haven't figured out how to reduce it enough--getting some strange message.

And some days I'd gladly give you both our kittens...like tonight when one of them jumped on the table and started eating Jake's ice cream. :rotfl: You'll have to show her my other animals on the pet thread.

Oh, and it's funny, but your picture in your signature looked so familiar, but I obviously have never seen you. Last night at my 12yo son's band concert I saw the lady that looks like you. I don't know her, but have seen her around throughout the years and she happened to be sitting in front of me. At least that mystery was solved. :teeth:

yep...of all things, I get tagged with something I posted in a CEREAL thread and not the SNARKY thread.

heheh...i love it!

At least your tags are not reversed. That would be disgusting. Snarky with cheerios would be painful, besides gross.

EEWEWW!!! hjheheh

I see your leaving for WDW soon! so jealous!

For the past 2 years DH has taken me to WDW for my birthday (end of January)...2 years ago he gave me a Premium AP and the plan tickets for Christmas. Dunno if we're going again this January...but I just wanted to say - have fun! I really enjoy going in January!

If I could go down in late January/early Feb every year I would do that. This will be my third year, but I think that my DH is catching on to my plan and the gravy train will be ending (and I mean that in the most un-snarky way :teeth: ).

I've made solo trips with 3 out of my 4 children and at the very least am running out of children. :rotfl: No AP this time, so no repeat trips this year. I went 4 times the last AP...

Where in CT do you live? My DH's company is based in Westport and he has to make trips there occasionally.

BAH! We did FIVE Trips during our AP year! When we went w/o an AP...and actually had to buy MYW tickets...it felt WEIRD!

I'm further up in CT...Western CT...Westport is so nice! But I LOATHE southern CT traffic!

You guys are killing me. I found myself laughing about this all evening yesterday. My husband thought I was nuts.

We leave sooner, 2 weeks from yesterday! I can't wait. Tigger&Belle, I am really bumed we will just miss each other, it would be so cool to meet up! (but then again you see me every were anyway! :rotfl: )

The most we have done is 3 trips in one AP. We found the hard way that WDW in summer isn't really for us. I do admit when you have an AP it is like WDW is calling your name "come visist, if you could just get here you could come in for free!" ::MickeyMo

I was reading another post yesterday where someone posted a reply saying "they were being Snarky" and I just busted out laughing!!!! I wanted to reply something about is that in a #10 sort of way but I knew they would have no idea what I was talking about!!!

I do have too much free time on my hand for sure. Of course I should be out shopping, cleaning my house, making cookies, etc. :rotfl:

Yes, bummer that we'll be missing each other. Seems like we're barely missing a lot of people--guess that's what happens when we go after MLK weekend. If it's anything like last year, there will be lots of Maryland people since we have a 3 day weekend the end of Jan and a lot of MD seems to go to WDW.

APs are just too darn expensive, when you factor in all the extra trips. For my last AP I spent 30 days in Orlando during that year. :earseek: What a year! And that AP expired almost a year ago and here I go planning another trip, again leaving my DH at home (he went with me one of the trips).

I am trying to figure out a way to weasel a trip to Universal Studios in the next year or so. Don't know that I'll be able to do that, though. My kids want to go to Cedar Point, though, so we might go there this summer. Have to figure out how to arrange a trip around that...one that my DH will agree to.

Universal AP's are SUPER CHEAP. (like - just over $100, well, *I* think that's pretty cheap) And the discounts you get on the hotels pretty much make up for it. This was a SMART purchase on our behalf. (of course - all our AP's are expired now!)

we went to cedar point this summer...DH is a rollercoaster freak, I'm not. It was a good time though.

We've had Universal APs before and we love the parks, but don't know that we'd go the AP route next time. We have their Mastercard and have enough points for 2 day passes for our family, so have planted that seed with my DH. Hasn't germinated yet, though.

All of us like rollercoasters and I think we'd like Cedar Point a lot. We were waiting for my youngest to be at least 48" so he could do more of the big rides and we'll just need to kid swap for the biggest rides. My three older kids love coasters, as I do, so we need to do that!

Well, we could meet up at CP, we are only 2 hours from there, but I haven't been in a few years (since having babies). However we normally go down for a day at soak city (the water park.) Actually Anna is old enough to enjoy a few things about CP now, but it is such a let down theming wise. The coasters are goo though.

I love gooey coasters! ;) :rotfl:

It's hard going to amusement parks without theming when we're so used to WDW and Universal. I refuse to go to our local 6 Flags since it's dirty, no theming and the rides are so-so.

We love water parks and will go to Soak City if we get to CP. We had the best time this summer at the waterpark in Williamsburg.

I'll keep you posted!

I've thought of 2 possible ways to convince my DH to go to CP. One is to tie it in with a trip to Wisconsin to spend a few days near Racine where his aunt has a summer cabin. We used to visit there years ago when we lived in Madison. The other is to figure out baseball parks to visit. We should be able to figure out a few ballparks to go to--that would interest my DH and one or two of my boys for sure. See how sneaky I have to be to get to an amusement park? :rotfl2:
