I've seen several threads about this, but what does it stand for?

Lime Green Mickey Heads. Disney Paints provides samples of their colors in the shape of Mickey's head. The Disboards have adopted the lime green color. You can get them for free at Home Depot.

I think the "official color" is called Alien Green.

I've been wondering the same thing! I have seen the Mickey head samples at a local hardware store. I'm glad I finally figured out what the abbreviation stands for.

I'll be sure to pick up a few next time I'm out. Be on the look out for me in December at WDW!!:thumbsup2

I STILL haven't gotten out to the HDs to get them. Gonna have to find some "spare" time to do so!!

I also got some black and orange Mickey Heads to decorate for Halloween! I decorated my room window at Pop last month with them.

I am glad you asked, it took me forever to figure it out ( ok not forever), I am glad it is finally confirmed. I will have to check them out next time I go to Home Depot.

Thanks for posting the official name--I have picked up lots of colors, especially the Alien Green--I couldn't find a "lime green". I couldn't imagine what the lime green one looed like because alien green looked pretty lime to me...

Now that I have all of these Mickey heads in various colors, what should I do with them??? LOL

I'm working on identifying colors with my daughter, but I'd like to do something crafty. Any ideas?

We're going to WDW in November.
Thanks!
Amy

I make a new DIS tag for our backpack every trip. I haven't taken pics of my recent tag for next week but here is an old one to get the idea!

Here in germany I can't get some LGMH. (?)

I will tinker some. Whats the right colour? Is it like the colour of Mike Monster?

I bought a foam rubber in this colour, I hope it is good for that.

I have a funny story about my husband, I hope it comes across on "paper" as funny as it was last night! We had to make a trip to Home Depot so I told him all about the Lime Green Mickey Heads, what we do with them, that we say LGMH for short ...everything.....I get done telling him all this, saying "lime green" a million times only for him to ask me if the lime green mickey heads come in different colors????? Well, technically yes, but for the purpose of Dis and LGMH it is Lime green.....i said think about what we were just saying and what I told you LGMH stands for and he told me word for word and still didn't get it. Then we had a good laugh, at his expense! :rotfl2: Love him anyway, he lets me have my Disney obsession!

FYI Terra Green paper from the Wausau company is the same color at the HD Alien Green. You can get the paper at OfficeMax and a MM punch from Michaels, then you don't have to liberate the paint samples from HD. Those HD assoociats tend to start looking at you funny after a while.
