to "rent points" from a DVC member? What are points? SO confused!!
Just to add a little to what's already been posted.....the benefit of renting points from a DVC member instead of paying cash to book directly from Disney is that it can cost you
much less $$ for your stay if staying at one of the DVC resorts
For example, a stay in a studio room (larger than most regular hotel rooms and comes with a kitchenette) it may cost you say $300 per night to book directly through Disney and would come out to $1,500 for a 5 night stay. If you rent points from a DVC member, it would cost you typically $10 per point and the stay for 5 nights if you stay Sun. - Thurs. would cost you 40 points for a studio at OKW if you went in Sept.(lowest point cost season)-- the cost for 40 points would be $400 so you'd be saving $1,100
HTH's explain it a little
