I'm new at this cruise information stuff so forgive me if these questions have been asked a thousand times . . .

If doing the land/sea vacation does everyone get picked up at airport by disney cruise line buses or do you take a town car or limo to your resort?

After your 4 night resort stay do you take disney cruise line bus or another form of transportation?

Which is more costly?

We used Quicksilver towncar. They were absolutely wonderful! It cost us $235 for the land/sea. Plus we gave them $15 tip for each leg of the trip, they were worth it. Check them out at www.quicksilver-tours.com .

We used FL Tours, and it ended up being a good bit cheaper than the Disney transfers, even accounting for the tip. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the Poly, picked us up from the Poly and took us to the port, and then picked us up from the port and took us back to the airport. We are a family of 5, so they used a large van. It had a DVD player so the kids were able to watch a movie during the trip. We will definitely use them again for our next trip!

I just cancelled the DCL transfers that came with our AAA land/sea package and booked with FLTours for a towncar service. ( I am hoping and praying that I did the right thing!!) FLTours is a board sponsor and I want to support the boards. The trip from airport to CBR and CBR to the port and then port to the airport is costing us $235.00. We are a party of 3 (2 adults & 1 3 yr old)

The reason we cancelled the DCL transfers is because they wouldn't get us from the resort to the ship until 3:00!!! YIKES!!!I am not planning to do the "ressies rush" , but I am still anxious to get to the ship to enjoy lunch.

Hope I made the right decision!!! I'll let you all know when we get back on June 25th!!

I am leaving next week and am not sure whether or not to can cel my transfers. We have them for $207.00 for 3 of us which is cheaper than any car service, also, thought it is supposed to save time since you do not have to check in at the ship again. Am I being misled?

We used towncar and didn't have to check in at the terminal again because we did the check in at the BC.

We used DCL transportation from resort to port, then port to MCO (we booked another land package to go with this one, so we just used Mears to get to WDW from MCO.) It was quick, easy and fun. We got to port at around 12:30 or 1:00 on our sail date, so I don't know how/why they would be getting people there at 3:00 like another poster said. At least in 02, you were given some different choices as to when you could leave and where you could leave from. However, this time around, we have booked everything separately (renting DVC points, buying PH, and using Happy Limo for transport to WDW, port and MCO.) I would price it all out for the amount of passengers you have, etc and see what suits you best!

Thanks for your responses, The DCL transfers are less money. $207 for the 3 of us. FL tours quoted $235. And then tip on top of that. DCL will pick us up at 12:00 and hopefully we will get to port by 1:00. Is this too late for Palo ressies? That is all I am doing and the Oceaneer club. I do want lunch too!
