*What does everyone do for a living/job/career???*...

I have been an empty nester for a few years and a homemaker for all of my married life. 7 years ago I started raising labrador retrievers for Guiding eyes for the blind. I get a new pup every year and just LOVE it.

Aww I think thats soo awesome, my boyfriend and I have a black lab!! He is now 1 1/2 years old! My boyfriend is a firefighter so he would love to use him for arson investigation one day--thats where we got his name as well--"Ashes" like ashes from a burning fire etc. haha .. I <3 my :firefight

I am a freelance writer and the author or co-author of twelve books. I write primarily magazine articles but also do work for the University near my home (writing for the campus newspaper and the alumni magazine), social services organizations, and corporations needing written material.

(And I raised my four kids this way - you CAN make a living as a writer...)

DS is a Pro Fighter in the MMA:faint: ( I wish I was kidding)
BFF DH in the Police Acadamy ::cop: ( BFF will be moving here to Dallas soon to be with him . Till then he is here with us : ) )

I have 4 kids under 10 in my house so I am also a nutcase in my spare time .If BFF only knew what she sent her 2 kids to bawwhwhwaa
My Neice and Nephew are already ruined but these 2 are still kinda normal LOL
 
I was a SAHM waitressing at night for 15 years. For the last 7 months, I've been trained as a Leased Housing Specialist working 35 hours a week M-F, no weekends, nights or holidays anymore :thumbsup2

DH is a working foreman for an excavating company about to be laid off any minute, as always, late winter until spring.

When I grow up I either want to be a surgeon or an event planner or a Disney CM.

HEY! luccccky you!!! how do you do that---that would be pretty nice to have around here--i live in the Lehigh Valley in PA, well known for the hospitals-Lehigh Valley Hospital(known for its heart care) St.Luke's Hopsital as well(Trauma). Check your PM's as well! But yeah thats awesome to work from home:cheer2:
 
I work for the biggest bank in the country, monitoring their ATM network and researching problems that happen with various individual machines. I monitor the new installs and those that are having problems end up on my desk. :)
 
WHOA! yeaaah I def. say thats a HUGE responsibility!!! WELL SOO glad you responded to my thread because you can def. help me out--damn ATM machine only spit out $40.00 I actually put in $400.00 !! I just dont know HOW that happened:confused3 You might see that on your desk, in the meantime could I get my $360.00 since the ATM ate it! :rotfl:

I lost my job in education in June after 8 years as a technology coordinator for a school district. Now I am a software trainer for a company that sells/manages medical residency management software. I'm headed to Philadelphia to give my first training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital next week! Wish me luck!
 
I am a TA--sell cruises and all vacations. LOVE it..will never make me rich--but I do enjoy and the perks aren't bad!;)
