what documents are they?

We have finally paid for our cruise for March and are now waiting for the "documents" to come.

Questions:
1. What kinds of documents will I receive?
2. Does the TA usually send them to the cruisers or do we have to go to pick up?

Your TA will get them from DCL and then send them to you. Each cruiser gets a package of documents and these need to be filled out before you get to the Port.

Documents are the legal part of the cruise - credit card into, embarkation/disembarkation information, and your luggage tags. They are a "no brainer" to fill out - just answer the questions.

Usually you get the docs about 4-6 weeks before you cruise. DVC takes longer if you cruise on points, but DCL is pretty quick about it and hopefully, your TA will get them out to you asap.

If you have any questions about filling out the documents, just ask us here - but honestly, they are very simple to do!

Any chance I will find info like my dining rotation and the stateroom number in the package?

"Documents" is cruise talk for tickets. There will be a package that includes your luggage tags, transportation vouchers, the actual ticket, credit card authorization, etc. ALso Bahamas customs form. It will have your cabin number, but not your dining rotation assignment. It will say early or late seating.

You will find your rotation assignment in your stateroom after you board.

DCL will FedEx them to you if you booked directly thru them, to your TA if you went thru a TA. It is then their job to get them to you--by courier, mail, FED Ex, having you pick them up, or whatever.

LTS - your dining rotation will be printed on your KTTW card, which is given to you at check-in, in the terminal, PRIOR to boarding.

And you can either change your rotation or ask for a particular server at the Dining Room Changes time right after you get on the ship.
