we are going Deluxe in May just to give our girls (4yo) more options. They were sick and tired of nuggets and Mac&cheese last fall. They were more then happy when we walked into a buffet because they could pick adult food.

I'm surprised and glad that there are quite a few children like my son. We also did Buffets for variety a long time ago, but decided the food wasn't that good. I do find that sometimes my son will eat caesar salad with grilled chicken but complains that the chicken isn't fresh - which in most cases, they weren't so I couldn't argue with him.

Are desserts an issue as well? For us, it was. Most TS locations offer ice cream as a staple (I know they offer chocolate stuff - but he doesn't eat chocolate either - that, I'm fine with....he was allowed to try chocolate when he was 6 and he disliked it so much he felt sick to his stomach) and he's not at all fond of ice cream - we always had to order him creme brulee (luckily it's offered in many TS restaurant). On the other hand, my daughter can eat scoops and scoops of vanilla ice cream (she's not allowed to have chocolate - actually I'm afraid she'll like it and would want it all the time, so we're waiting - she's 6).

Thanks for the votes...:)

Not judging, but my son is almost 5, and I would never give him the option to eat rare steak or raw sushi :scared1:...I have watched too many episodes of "Monsters Inside Me" :rotfl2

Ditto - I love those videos but - taking microbiology... e coli and parasites/worms in raw fish are in my nightmares right now:scared1:

I voted both - my kids are perfectly happy with McD's hamburgers but also really like shrimp and lemon chicken, etc. - makes them fairly easy to feed. My only issues are too many snacks and trying to keep up with what they like this week compared to last week..

We are doing the deluxe in a few weeks too - partly for the princess meals and also so the kids (and us) have some good options.

Even though I don't have a kid, I was (and still might be considered one) at disney. Now i am 16 and i have been going to disney my whole life. I have always loved adult food. So tasty (i cant wait, im going to disney 2maro!!!!):)
