What do you want on your sub sandwich?

hot hoagie: mozzarella, garlic butter, mayo, oregano, thin sliced onion (white), tomato, shredded lettuce

cold sub: cheeeeese, pickles, tomato, thin sliced onion, lettuce, green pepper, sub dressing, mayo

Salami, provolone, onions, green peppers, olive oil mix on soft sub roll. There is a little sub shop from the 1960's in Portsmouth NH that made this combo famous (I don't like the black olives and tomatoes). Something about the combination is amazingly delicious on a squishy, soft roll. It has to be made fresh in front of you. A few grocery stores sell them but they just don't taste the same cold. If you live in southern NH, you know what I am talking about LOL!

Classic italian sub, letuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, and a hot pepper concoction if they have one (like Potbelly).

Breaded cutlet, fresh mozzarella, Procuitto, roasted peppers, balsamic glaze, olive oil, arugula on a hard roll.

I’m in the middle of making a muffuletta to travel with on a 22 hr train ride👀.

It has: sopressata, mortadella, pancetta, capicola, prosciutto, pepperoni, smoked mozzarella and roasted peppers in addition to the olive salad.

Foot-long white bread, ham, cheese, shredded lettuce, a little bit of thin-sliced onion and sub sauce. Panini pressed and heated. :cloud9:

Fresh soft Italian sub roll. Extra mayo and American cheese on the bottom. Tuna salad, light lettuce, tomatoes, drizzle of Italian dressing and a sprinkle of salt and pepper

Egg salad on a Parmesan or Sour Dough roll

There are 2 main options for my hoagies ( I live in the Philly suburbs)
Ham ( pepper if available), salami, capicola or prosciutto, mild provolone, lettuce, onion, hot or sweet peppers ( depending on my mood) with oil &vinegar .
Turkey, roast beef , pepper jack cheese, lettuce , onion , sweet peppers with oil and mayonnaise.

White roll, turkey or ham or roast beef, mayo, provolone/munster.. that's about it. lol

Turkey and/or ham... shredded lettuce, olives (black and/or green), banana peppers, mayo, cheese, and maybe pickles.

I can't remember the last time, if ever, I've had a sub. Is it safe for me to assume that those of you who note "white roll" means just white breaded sub?
