What do you use MyPoints for on a Disney Vacation?

Just wondering. I have accumulated a fair number of points. Last time I got Rain Forest Cafe. I was thinking of something different this time. What have you cashed your points in toward???

I used to always get Rain Forest cards too but lately I've been getting the Darden card (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, etc.

We don't have a Bahama Breeze around here and it is located so convenient to DW and I really like it. Especially there coconut onion rings.

Darden cards and gas cards (especially with the price of gas around Disney).

I used to get Olive Garden gc's through mypoints, but they no longer send gc's to Canadians. Our choices are limited now (unless you wait to get $25 from gc.ca). I usually cash out for home depot gc's at the $10 mark. It comes in handy, but not as much fun as a restaurant gc!!

I was just on Mypoints & noticed they have for redeeming points, airlines- Hotels- webcertificates{for disney $$}- food certificats... All depends on what will be useful to you. Hope this helps. Diswife

What I do is cashout for a webbie then depneding on when we have a trip planned I either.

Print out the account page from web certificates and take it to TDS and have the CK put the account # in manually and buy $DD

or

if we have a trip planned I call Disney and give them my web certificate #(which is actually a credit card #)
and have it applied to our account.

actually the second plan works for any hotel. I just called our TA and had my webbie account put on our Vegas trip.

I don't understand what you mean. What is TDS and CK. I do know that DD is Disney Dollars

its real easy to take your webcertificate to use on the cruise.

write down the # from the webcertificates account page.

call who you made your ressies with (disney dirrect TA or AAA or ?)

and give them the # with expiration date (its just like using a credit card cause in a way thats what it is)

and have them use as a another deposit on your balance.

this saves the $6.95 fee for the plastic card.

this wont work once you are on the ship unless you have the card but to use over the phone it works great!!!

I just used it to put another deposit on our Vegas trip with AAA and it was so easy!! good luck and feel free to ask if you have any more ?S

i just got on my points to check my points and the redemption levels and I can't find webcertificates on the redeem list!!

is this discontinued now????
