What do you use as a stroller cover for rain?

We have a really nice one from protect-a-bub, it was breathable For when DS was in it, but protected the stroller when we were dining and a thunderstorm came by!

First time we used a stroller cover but it was a pain. Last time we did the dollar store clear shower curtain with clips. It was much easier to store and cover. We are using that again this trip.

Ooooh a shower curtain- so creative! :)

I didn't even know they had those at the dollar store.

What kind of clips did you use?

The ponchos work with clips. We use the black binder clips that are sold in office supply stores. I keep a few clipped to the stroller sun shade most of the time. It's also used during nap time when I drape a towel over the end of the sunshade to cover their legs.

We bought a stroller cover that was for our stroller. But I noticed when we were inside 50's prime time and it started pouring out - a CM was putting black garbage bags over strollers in the stroller parking to cover them. I thought that was nice! Only thing - our stroller cover has some tiny holes in it (I guess breathing holes) so some water got in but we had a beach towel on the seat so that absorbed the leaking water! Good idea about the shower curtain for stroller parking time!

We have a stroller cover that we use. It is a pain but it keeps everything dry.

Love the shower curtain idea! Our double stroller rental came with a rain cover, but I could never get it positioned just right, so the stroller still got pretty wet. I'll try the shower curtain next time!

Love the shower curtain idea. I was just about to buy the cover that is made for our stroller. Now I'm just going to go for the shower curtain idea.

We also did the shower curtain with clips. The clips were the big kind - like what you use to secure a beach towel - and we got those at the Dollar Store also.

We also used a shower curtain. I tried a poncho our first trip..FAIL. Shower curtain with clips works MUCH better!

The shower curtain is a great idea! Adding it to my Dollar Tree shopping list right now. Thanks!

I have a stroller cover with vents that i got on clearance at Toys R Us before our last trip. It was a life saver!

We had a stroller cover for our Maclaran. Used that when the kiddies were in the stroller. If it was just to protect it from getting wet when we were on an attraction we used a cheap, clear shower curtain!

I bought a $14 stroller cover and was so thankful for it. I considered ponchos/garbage bags for our last trip. Rain was in the forecast but this was most likely our last visit using a stroller. So glad I just bought a regular cover. At the last minute. It wasn't a pain at all. I was placing it on as a sudden downpour came. Saw all the other strollers get drench with their makeshift covers.

I can see bags or anything without clips not working if the rain doesn't slick off. Or it's not at an angle. The water will just collect in a puddle and eventually get weighed down.

We normally use the stroller cover designed specifically for our double Maclaran but in a pinch, we've used a poncho. If we have the stroller cover, we use a poncho to cover our backpack hanging from the handles.

The stroller cover made for our stroller. We live in NYC and walk everywhere year round. It take one or two tries to get the hang of it. I can't imagine a shower curtain fitting as well

I have used the shower curtain. But our stroller still got soaked when we went in for FOTLK, came out of the show and it had poured (& cleared up too) in the 20 mins we were inside!
