What do you use as a stroller cover for rain?

We have the cover designed for our stroller, but it didn't work well for us when we needed it because we had never even tried to put it on before! If you buy a stroller cover for your brand, I HIGHLY recommend practicing putting it on as quickly as possible. I'll be perfecting my technique before this next trip for sure!

I bought an stroller cover at the local baby store for about $12, it was nothing fancy but I wanted to have it just in case we needed. It turns out we needed it, and it worked great. It kept everything dry and was easy to get things in and out. We were stopped numerous times by others asking where we bought it (they thought we bought it at WDW). I think the $12 was worth it.

It's been awhile since our kids were in strollers (youngest DD is now 8), but we went when she was just 9 months old. I used a stroller cover from Babies R Us that was a sun and rain shield. You kept it on the stroller, the front had Velcro closures for when it was down, and a strap to keep the front rolled up when not in use. Greatest invention ever, or close enough to it anyway! Kept her dry in the rain, the top was tinted to keep the sun off of her, and was so easy to quickly put down in a quick rain storm.

Also in nyc, everyone has at leasts a rain cover if not various other types! I did use the one that came with our kingdom stroller rental and it wet through after about 15 minutes, I wished I had a form fitting clear plastic one instead. I am going to borrow from a friend or buy one on sale to fit the rental for our next trip as the beter fit can make a big difference

I have a stroller cover; actually, 2, one for each stroller. I have a Jeep branded one that I use on my Jeep Cherokee stroller. It's great to protect the stroller and my daughter inside! The stroller got left outside in a torrential downpour that lasted several hours. It had 2-3 drip spots on it and that was it. It's also been great when walking with my girl in the rain. She's protected and can see out.

I bought a generic BRU one for out Baby Jogger City Mini and it failed us. I bought the official BJ one and it was perfect!

We bought the one made for our stroller for $12 on amazon. It was perfect, and folded up easily when we weren't using it. We also found when we returned home that it worked on our other strollers, too with some slight modification - aka clothespin or butterfly clip).

we bought one or two shower curtains...cheep ones are fine and some cute duck tape they had just started making the cute stuff the last time we went...but i bet you could get a disney character your children love now ;) we fashioned ours right to our stroller all the way down the fronts and backs and it worked wonders!!!

Binder clips and ponchos. We would open the sunshade all the way, drape the ponchos, and then keeps them in place with binder clips. We were even able to drape the ponchos over the handles so the things we had hanging from the handles were dry too. We also arranged the ponchos so it fell from the top on the sunshade to past the foot rest. Kids loved it and they (and the stroller!) stayed dry. We had a city mini double last trip.
