Hi All!
The long awaited SW flights for January came out today and I am looking for Jan. 13 from Buf to Mco and Jan. 20 from Mco to Buf. Tonight when I got home from work and saw that the flights were opened up, the lowest 2 fares were already sold out for the n/s a.m. flights. I couldn't believe that this was the case so I booked the "fun fare" at $167 for Buf to Mco one way, non-refundable.
Here is my question...the return flights are going for $145-213. I have not booked yet but am thinking that these could go fast too. Do I wait it out and hope for a ding on the outbound flights and then book the return with the excess funds?
Or do I book the highest fare which is refundable to insure we have a seat and then when a ding comes out for the first flight use the ticketless travel funds for the return flight and cancel the refundable flight?
Just don't want to come home some night and find out that we have no seats to come home on...
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks!
Anne
