What do you think when you see someone

I thkn it's probably me and I forgot I still have them on.:upsidedow

There have been a few times I've wanted to leave my sunglasses on at work because of a migraine. But I don't, it's probably not appropriate. :goodvibes

that they just came from the eye doctor and had their eyes dilated...or that they think they are cool :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

  • They just came from the doctor's office
  • They are in a rush and didn't change their glasses
  • They just forgot to put their inside glasses on (I know I get so used to the sunglasses that even inside I forget I am wearing them)
  • They are having a bad makeup day
  • They have a cold and their eyes are all watery
  • They are famous
  • They are hiding from the world
  • They think they are young and cool
  • They are blind
  • They have some sort of eye injury that necessitates dark glasses on
  • I really don't notice what others are wearing on their faces unless in a direct conversation with them

I wear them inside sometimes too (prescription). Switching them just to run into a store and grab something is annoying.

Next week for at least a few days I will be wearing sunglasses at all times except when asleep, even at work (eye surgery). I'm sure I will get some strange looks.

I keep them on in stores sometimes because my eyes are super sensitive to bright lights. They work well too when you see someone you are trying to avoid! ;)

I think they're in mourning, or having a tough day. Either way, it looks like they want to be left alone.

I have perscription sunglasses. There are times, when I go into the store to drop off a payment or pick up a perscription at the dr's office or pay for gas, that I don't switch back and forth between my two pairs. Quick in and outs, doesn't bother me in the least.

I do the same thing.

Eye problems

But then again everytime I look at them I get that "Sunglasses at night" song stuck in my head

Yep, me too! I sometimes wear sunglasses, but I absolutely cannot wear them INSIDE a store!:headache: Gives me an instant headache!:confused3 And yea, I just figure the ones that do wear them are ALL of the above!;)

I don't know i don't care.

Unless its at night i get that really old sunglasses at night song stuck in my head.

i honestly don't give it a second thought. :confused3

Guess we're in the same camp.. I notice - because it's not all that common - but would never think of some of the odd, not-so-nice things that have been posted on this thread..

If I took the time to think, it would be along the lines of someone having had eye surgery..:santa:

I wear my sunglasses inside all the time! I have sensitive eyes and the bright lights bother me. I don't have real dark lens so it doesn't look bad. I never thought for a minute, that people would think I was being unfriendly or some of the other things people have mentioned. :confused3

After watching my new favorite show "Jersey Shore" I'd say a Guido!!! LOL

Seriously though, my bosses son comes in with his sun glasses on all the time. Hes 17, thinks hes cool I guess.

Now, if I see someone, which is usually in the 20something and younger age, walking around the mall or store wearing them, I think to be that young and full of myself to think that it makes me look hip and I am all that important that I need to wear shades inside to keep the people at bay. You can tell the difference between those that are perscription and those that are just pricey sunglasses.

I will also say, that one time my regular glasses broke and in such a way that you could not quickie fix and wear them. I had to go three days wearing my sunglasses every where. But I limited my running around, so that I wasn't wearing them outside at night and we didn't do any shopping.

I do that, too. So apparently, the other shoppers at Safeway think I am a drug addict, a conceited wench, ashamed of myself, tired, in mourning, or have super-sensitive eyes. Nice to know.

(psst, the truth is, most people really don't care)

and here in California, at certain times you get noticed if you are NOT wearing sunglasses.

I don't give it a second thought either, cause I do it! I'm like pp. I have glasses and prescription sunglasses. I'm switching all the time. Sometimes I forget and I don't want to retrieve my reg. glasses. Sometimes it's a quick in and out type thing.

I don't notice other people whether they do or not. It doesn't effect me.
