i live on the eastern side where the private and public colleges draw large populations from both across the u.s and internationally (gonzaga, whitworth, eastern washington university, washington state and university of washington medical schools). there is evidence of student struggles in adaptation to non common core curriculum such that entire very basic college general education curriculums are being revised to ensure students have (for lack of a better term) practical and applicable knowledge and skills.

Do you realize that schools are funded by state budgets, which tend to be tight to begin with? And that state budgets nationwide are going to take a severe beating in the next year due to the closures: dramatically reduced sales tax and income tax revenue? Do you realize how big a part of state budgets schools already are? And you think that the daily sterilization of every classroom after school by "cleaning crews" is a reasonable expense to add to every public school in every state?
