What do you think of this idea????

My husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on July 9th. We are going to be in Disney on July3-13 with our 4 children (19, 16, 13 and 11) and my sons' girlfriend (20). We have 2 rooms reserved at CB. My hubby wanted to stay at Poly, but needless to say it was too expensive for us all. Now I'm thinking, maybe it would be neat to book a night or 2 there for just the 2 of us and then we could have a mini vacation for two during our family vacation. It would be a cool suprise for him and I think romantic for us too. What do you think?? I'll check the AP rates when they come out to see how much it would be. I know nothing about the poly tho, so what would be good???? Thanks

I think that's a splendid and romantic idea! Never stayed at the Poly but I've visited a lot and I think it would be very romantic. I hear the most romantic resort is Wilderness Lodge. We're staying there for the first time this year. Have a great time.

ok..I did it! I called and booked 2 nights at the Poly for us. There are no discounts right now, but I have 14 days for something to happen! It is a garden view for $566 for 2 nights. What do you think it will be when AP's are released? Should I upgrade to a water view or is that only concierge?
