What do you think of OKW?

I forgot to add..It's my GF's HOME resort, and they ADORE it! She has never had any regrets over buying there, and loves to visit. It seems to have some of the largest accommodations of any of the home-away-from-home resorts. We enjoyed everything about it, and found the bus travel to be "average" when compared with other moderates (and even some deluxe) resorts. The staff, was wonderful...and the landscaping was astounding (I truly recall this, as the plants were being "changed" while we were there). :sunny:

The laundry facility in the villas, is one of the reasons we LOVE DVB so much! While there for 2-weeks, we can enjoy the convenience of washing/drying clothes whenever needed. Also, the full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and added ROOMINESS of these accommodations makes it a TOP CHOICE for anyone visiting WDW. We are considering staying at the BWV...as our friends just returned and RAVED about their stay. Since we also stay at the Dolphin, we may just stay at the BWV for 4-5 days, before checking-in to the Dolphin. They had so much fun in the Community club house, etc. It was like renting a condo...on Disney Property! :goodvibes

Have a MAGICAL time...and be sure to post when you return!! :cloud9:

I have stayed in a 2br at OKW,BCV,and VWL and imo OKW has the best rooms out of all of them. The living area is the biggest out of all of them.
The one guys complaint about fresh towles wont really be a problem for you because he was in a studio, where if you get a 2br you will have a full W/D to throw them in before you go out to the parks. And about housekeeping, I dont like strange people going into my room everyday. I know 99% are honest, but I just dont like it so I actually like no housekeeping during my stay
I would recommend having a rental car to us instead of relying on bus sservice. It real nice to park right outside your room instead of parking and then have to walk what seems like forever before you get to your room. One semi bad thing is the food choices there are limited but if you have a car that wont be a problem, plus with the kitchen you can have snack stuff and cold drinks at your disposal.
I am sure you will love it there.

Hey ...
Thought I'd throw in my two cents. Stayed at OKW in August 2003 and had a great time. I think the accomodations are above average and found the staff more than accomodating. We usually are there for 2 weeks so having a washer and dryer does help alot. Olivia's is great and made our previous stay all the more memorable by giving my kids some pixie dust (glad bag full of glitter and stars) Our waitress, Maggie, overheard that we had missed our character breakfast at Chef Mickeys and said to "take this pixie dust and sprinkle it on our door when we get back to our room". The next day there was a bag hanging on the door with several balloons and personalized photo and autographs from Mickey and Minnie. Needless to say my ds8 and dd6 were very happy. Just another reason I would highly recommend OKW.
Have Fun
